I can't fully explain how grateful I am to have discovered Dr. Peter, Justin and Cathy. From day 1, they not only listened to me about my health issues, they also offered me compassion and a solid treatment plan. They did not upsell me anything. My experience was okay but not great. I think the main acupuncturist himself can do decent work and he seemed knowledgeable but at the same time there were aspects that weren't helpful. I felt the assistants could be a little weird. Not with a bad intention but some interactions felt slightly off. I went in with a not common condition that was lower on the pain scale. I explained to them what it was by showing them on my phone but I don't think they really understood. I'd usually feel better for a few days after a session but it'd come right back. After one session it even got worse. Although in the next session they gave it temporarily relief before going back to where it was originally. So in the end I went back to where I started. I normally wouldn't have minded but halfway through my series I expressed my concerns and offered to work on a different area that'd be more responsive but they recommended to keep going. Even with a package, this place was more expensive than other acupuncture locations with package rates (especially when considering sometimes I was splitting a room) in the area and I didn't get as good results. Although one person who I split a room with that had a neck/shoulder injury did share he got relief so I have no doubt it works here for others. read more

I've never gotten acupuncture done but wanted to give it a try. A close family friend recommended this place to me. They have a small parking lot next to the clinic and I was able to find a spot easily. Everyone (from the front desk staff to the 2 doctors there) was so welcoming and informative. I came in for neck/shoulder pain but Dr Peter quickly told me I have stomach indigestion issues that cause tension/pain (i do take simethicone and Pepcid often..) After a few pricks on the right side of my body, I instantly felt better - this was so shocking/intriguing to me since I've never gotten acupuncture before. Dr. Peter is a legit acupuncturist. He is 3rd generation. He takes his time to listen to all your symptoms and set up a plan for improvement. He recommended herbs as well as visits for me. I noticed after a week or two: my sleep and digestion had improved tremendously. Which isn't even the reason I came. It was just the most obvious thing I noticed. Even my overall mood has changed. I came into this place seeking help and paying out of pocket to only be taken advantage of. From the beginning in trying to book an appointment is even a hassle. Doing it online you don't get an actual appt. It's sent for "approval". I never heard back so I called the morning of and they told me to come in for my 60 min consultation. I walked in 8 mins late to actually only received care for 20 mins. It cost me $120 to have some needles in one foot and one hand. I told the gentleman I have 4 budging discs, burning pain in my legs, and just tested positive for an autoimmune disease. He didn't want to address that at all and said it's my stomach that's the problem. I never had any issues with my stomach... I don't care about the money but when you suffer chronic pain your jsut looking for some relief not someone to ignore what you said then make you pay for basically nothing. I was given a list of pain management options and list of places I could go to. I am very, VERY happy I chose this place. I came here for pain treatment for my lower back and neck and this place has helped me tremendously. I have a disc on my lower back and on my neck that are giving me problems, for almost a year I've been taking muscle relaxers and strong pain meds to help me deal with pain, all those medication were giving me temporary relief, pain would come back the next day. The medication we're giving me side affects, mood changes and a lot of heartburn. So I decided to try something natural. And boy am I glad I did!!!
