Cute little spot in Grafton. We came here so the kids could ride the coaster in the woods. They enjoyed it and went on it several times. I opted to grab a drink in the restaurant and hang out. Nice spot. Nice view! read more

While in Grafton last week, my family and I made our way to the Aerie's Winery for some wine and snacks. We took the Skytour up to the winery which was really fun and a unique way to get to the winery. It was super cold outside, so I was glad to see they had a closed in gondola for us to sit in instead of the open seat ( I would have frozen). Once we got up to the top, we were able to walk into the winery pretty quickly and since it was not too busy, we sat at a table and our server/bartender came over to check in on us and provided some menus for us to look over. We opted for some wine flights and we ordered a spin dip and a charcuterie board for the table. The wine flights were all tasty. The bartender selected 5 samples of dry, sweet and semi sweet wines for us to try. I liked how she gave us some local wines and some non local wines. It was a good mix. Sitting at the table was really relaxing and we enjoyed the view so much. I can see this spot being so amazing in the spring/summer and cannot wait to go back. read more

What a fun place! Came here on a Sunday, in August. We rode up in the non Gondola ( open air). It was fun! Beautiful views, great atmosphere once you get to the winery. Staff were beyond friendly. There was live music the day we went. We did not eat food because we came from Grafton Oyster Bar. However, we ordered a half bottle of Merlot, and half bottle on Pinot Grigio. It was very good! I loved the sky tour that you had to take to get up the hill. It took about 10 minutes each way. Not for those who are afraid of heights At the top there's a "winery" with great views, a zip line and alpine coaster ride. I can't wait to go back and try out the rides (I was too dressed up for all that ) The winery is not really a winery but just 2 different restaurants that offer a nice variety of wine. They do have their own private label wines that were good! One restaurant has a larger selection of food, more busy and is family friendly. The other one that we ate at was 21+ with a limited menu. Both have great views of the Mississippi. Only an hour outside of St. Louis, definitely worth the trip! read more

I went out to Aerie's resort to try out their Alpine wooden coaster, on my 3rd and final ride at the beginning of the alpine coaster my hat fell off and when I told the 2 workers (Older man with ponytail and Young male), They let me go on one more free ride so I could point the direction of where my hat is found, The Sky point was fun and slow but great view! I got to try their Gondola and Open Bench-Chair from to and back to my car! read more

I really enjoyed the sky ride today with my mom and sister. We took the gondola going up (very hot on the inside fyi ) staff does offer you water which is a plus and open ride going down to feel the breeze. It was slow and steady and you really can get pretty picturesque views. Once you get to the top you can get off and walk around the winery. The winery is beautiful . The only con is they don't do tastings. Didn't really like the menu options so we did not eat. Gift shop was nice and music was pleasant. Parking was congested but not enough to complain. Short lines and they also offer alpine coaster and a zip line experience . read more

This place isn't exactly the typical winery it does have a nice restaurant to enjoy, wine, and food and sometimes they do have a live band but today there was not a band. I did not get food or wine I was there just to take a ride on the Gondala to take a ride on the Alpine coaster which was a super fun coaster ride through the woods and hills of Grafton, Illinois. It's a nice chill spot I would suggest you try it at least once. read more

Sat outside on the deck which had a nice view. We saw they had live music that day but it was inside, the indoor dining area reminds me of a reception hall which I'm sure they do use it for too. Our server was nice & attentive. We weren't impressed by the flatbreads..at all. I'd skip those although there aren't very many other options. Fireball cheese ball was pretty good though. read more

This used to be the place I would go, on any trip to Grafton, but I'm going to have to say I'm not a big fan of the changes. You can no longer drive up to the winery if you just want to have a drink or get something to eat, you are forced to take a gondola ride and I'm not a fan of heights or sky lifts. I chose to walk back down the hill to get our car, and I beat everybody taking the sky lift. I'm going to have to say you've also lost my business and I used to recommend this place to everybody that went to Grafton. I'm gonna miss the views, but I will definitely choose the Grafton winery over dealing with this any day read more

Aerie's resort is a great place to stay and play. We stayed at the deck house which was a couple of blocks from the main road with a great view of the river. The room had a kitchenette with small refrigerator, sink, microwave, and coffee maker. There was also a small couch and table in the room. One day we road the zip line which was a lot of fun. We felt safe the entire time which is important when you're flying across the woods. When you stay at Aries, you can drive up to the winery which is nice. At the winery they have great wine and the food is good too. We were there on a Saturday and they had a one-man band which was great to sit and listen too with a bottle of wine. On Sunday we took the Grafton Sky tour up to the top of the resort. The views were fantastic. Once we got to the top we rode the Alpine Coaster. It's a one person roller coaster where are you can you can control the speed. This was also so much fun! We were there in mid November which means the crowds were pretty light. Light crowds means no lines for the winery, the Zip Line, the Grafton SkyTour, or the Alpine Coaster. We will be going back. read more

This place has permanently lost our business by closing the road up to the winery forcing people to ride their $10 cover charge sky lift. Also you are not allowed by the owner to park your car and walk up the steep hill citing his insurance will not allow people to walk on his paved road or grounds. You MUST ride the sky lift or if you are not able to ride you still have to pay the $10 and they will call someone to drive down the hill and pick you up and drive you back up the hill and then the same way back down separating you from your family who is able to ride the sky lift. We will NOT be back...ever. read more
