There have consistently been portable toilets and mobile hand washing stations available. Based on the demand and number of workers, there has always been a cleaning and pumping schedule for the company that owns and services these units. I have not encountered a situation like the current one involving Gilbert Environmental porta toilets rental at the Wolf Hollow Power Plant. There have been concerns regarding the cleanliness of the toilets and the functionality of the hand washing stations provided by Gilbert Environmental. The toilet rooms have not been cleaned since the project began on February 20, 2025, and as of March 24, 2025. This situation requires immediate attention for health and hygiene reasons. The project has approximately 150 personnel split into day and night shifts. A call was made to Gilbert Environmental based in Granbury, Texas, but no action was taken regarding our concerns about cleanliness. The soap dispensers at all wash stations are currently inoperative, necessitating the procurement of bottles of liquid soap by the project company to maintain proper hand hygiene for both workers and visitors. Despite the waste tanks of the toilets being pumped, an unpleasant odor persists due to inadequate cleaning of the interior walls and floors of the mobile toilet units. I am not only dissatisfied with the lack of service but also perplexed as to how the company expects not to be cited by state or federal laws and/or nonpayment under these circumstances.

When we woke on January 24, our heater downstairs was not running. My husband tried to troubleshoot, but he could not get the system to turn on. I called our usual HVAC company, but could not get anyone to return my call. A man on our town Facebook page offered his services for anyone having an emergency during the winter storm we were having. I reached out to him, and he basically walked me through the things my husband had already tried. He told me that was the extent of his knowledge and I needed to call an HVAC company. I told him I tried but got no return call. He gave me the number for Frontline HVAC, and told me he had already called them and they were expecting my call. I made the call, which was answered immediately. The scheduling coordinator told me she would get someone out to the house (the storm was predicted to get worse that night with a low temperature of 12F.) She called me back within five minutes to tell me she had found a service tech who was going to come help us. David Hart called me about ten minutes later to say the technician could not get out of his driveway. He (Mr. Hart) said he was coming personally as soon as one of the supervisors could come with him. They arrived within the hour. Within 20 minutes, Mr. Hart came to tell us the unit could not be repaired that day. Some type of rodent had chewed through the wires to the outdoor system and fried the whole control board. Mr. Hart clearly explained all of our options, and we decided we were not going to throw good money after bad in trying to repair an 18-year-old system. He gave us three estimates for a new system, described the pros and very few cons of each system. Within ten minutes, we selected our new system, and he promised it would be installed on Tuesday (today). He also told us that since the system being replaced had evidence of mold growth, he was going to schedule a crew to come clean our ducts. Additionally, he promised a separate service call to do a maintenance check on our much smaller second unit that heats and cools our second story. He explained everything so clearly, we did not have any questions. We were so grateful he and his team member came out in a bad winter storm to help us. This morning, his crew arrived promptly, worked diligently all day, and our new system is working perfectly. Our downstairs warmed up to a comfortable 70 degrees (from the lower 60s) within 30 minutes!! We normally ran our old, inefficient system between 68 and 70 (and up to 72 when the grandchildren are here). I have turned this unit to go up to 75 because I am tired of being so cold. If you have any trouble with your HVAC system, on a typical or day or even in the midst of a terrible winter storm, call Frontline HVAC. They will respond promptly and have one of their very knowledgeable and skilled personnel help you as soon as possible. David Hart and his crew saved us during this January 2026 winter storm.

It doesn't excuse the outright lie by that technician to leave the worksite without without having the decency to explain why the work couldn't be done to our face. We had to reach out to the secondary company to be told that it couldn't be done. This response is the first we've even heard of what the "unsafe" conditions were. How are we supposed to correct it if we aren't communicated to? Your excuses are just as poor as your professionalism. ***This company clearly discriminates against those with disabilities and mental health issues as we had another company come out to do the work with no complaints or comments about the "excessive items/trash" Shame on you. ***

He helped us install a transfer switch and exterior inlet plug for our generator so we can safely power our home during outages, and also rewired several breakers to create a dedicated group of emergency-use circuits that the generator would run. The level of knowledge and care he brought to this project was exceptional. Justin was very generous with his vast knowledge in the area. He took the time to thoroughly explain not just what he was installing, but why, and went above and beyond by educating us on generator best practices, including important dos and don'ts for safe operation. I definitely felt much more confident in my ability to keep our house running for my family than I did prior. He was also extremely friendly, kind, and easy to work with from start to finish. Scheduling was simple, he was very accommodating to our availability, and his work was fast yet meticulous. He ran multiple dry runs with our generator to ensure every targeted breaker was functioning properly, and even took the panel back off to include an additional circuit I initially didn't think would be necessary, but ultimately agreed was important for emergency situations. That extra level of diligence and care is rare. Justin is a one-man operation, but you'd never know it based on the quality of his work and professionalism.
