My family and I had an appointment set up for 11am today, and the lady called and she said that the pilot was waiting for our flight at 7am. We're all sitting here like," no, you sent an email for 11am." The lady said that we better get our money from Groupon back. So unless you want that happening to you, then go ahead. If we can't get out money back from Groupon they'll either have to fly us if they want to or not, or they'll have to give us our money back out of their pockets. read more

My first instructor was nice but left to fly for the airlines for about 6 months into my training. I then flew off and on for about two years while I work at a job that unfortunately took most of my time away from flying and found a new instructor to replace him. On April 30th of 2018, I started working at Pensacola Aviation Center next door, and in December after four long years, I finally received my Pilot License. My advice to anyone taking or thinking of taking lessons... 1) Cost: Figure out what you want to accomplish and set a goal. 2) Save: Once you decide what you want to do, start saving money. 3) Wait: Wait until you have at least 90% of your money saved before starting your pilot training. 4) Time: Set a weekly or monthly goal of how much you want to fly, however, I would recommend flying as much as possible to avoid losing any skill and having to relearn them over again as I had to do. Otherwise, I wish everyone that flying safety and the best in Aviation!!!

I am a flight instructor and trained at skywarrior inc. for my ATP. This flight school is about the…read moremost dysfunctional place I have ever came across. The first flight instructor I was given didn't have a clue where to find the airworthiness or the registration for the aircraft, turns out they were on the aft bulkhead which was discovered after almost a half an hour search. I insisted I would not fly the aircraft without seeing the required documents meanwhile he was trying to assure me that the aircraft was airworthy. That should have been my first clue to not walk but RUN! I instead elected to stick around and just bang it out but I soon find that first and foremost there is no real preflight or post flight briefing. It is up to you to schedule yourself for your next training evolution and as I pointed out there is no post flight so after your lesson basically you're left to your own devices as far as what to do or what needs attention. The communication between the instructor and myself was lacking but strangest of all was that the staff doesn't keep a log of anything. When I terminated my training with skywarrior inc. they could not provide me with an invoice because they never entered anything into whatever system that they track your training with. I pulled out my log book and had to give them the information to generate an invoice. Then after three days of the runaround trying to get my refund of the balance they tell me that I have 3.5 of ground???? Really when did this ground take place and with whom???? I have been to a lot of flight schools for different training and I've seen the good, the bad and the ugly but skywarrior inc. definitely takes the prize. Do yourself a favor and stay away or go cry to someone else after you get the skywarrior inc. treatment because you were warned.

After retiring to Gulf Shores nearly 7 years ago, I can honestly say this is still my go-to tire shop. Back in 2020, my last review, I was just starting to build a relationship with these guys after moving from TN, and they have definitely lived up to that first impression. They are still the same friendly, professional crew I remember. Even though I am just here for a single tire replacement this morning, they're getting me in and out just as fast as they did when I bought that full set of Michelins. The waiting room is still a great perk too. It is clean, cool, and has plenty of space to chill out with the big TV and free WiFi while they work on the car. They really make a stressful morning a lot easier to handle. Bottom line: These guys are honest, fast, and reliable. After six years of coming here, I still highly recommend them for tires, brakes, or an oil changes. Highly recommended!

Apparently the violent impact from my wheel contacting the pavement bent and sheared a pin in the jack shaft on my front slideout mechanism rendering it inoperable. There were several options in the area but I had noticed RV823 in the park we were staying in a few days earlier and after checking with the front desk at the campground James came highly recommended, he answered his phone on my first attempt to contact him and asked some very important questions in order to understand the issue even though he was in the middle of a job not far away and told me he expected to be onsite within an hour. Upon arriving he was very focused on resolving my issue and immediately went to work troubleshooting the problem, he was able to find the problem quickly and had the part needed on his truck to complete the repair. His extensive experience is unmatched in my experience with mobile RV providers, he also explained next steps once I returned home to ensure the alignment on the slideout and program position stops would prevent issues in the future. I can't say enough about his skills and professionalism, I was very fortunate to meet James and would recommend you calling him first if you're within his service area...

I spent countless hours and days trying to get approved financing after a car accident I was involved in. no one would could get me financed after being rear ended and not at all at fault in the accident. my last plan was to purchase a car cash outright but I was limited on that plan. i would have had to buy on market place or other with only $3000-$4000 to get a not so dependable vehicle. I was in a real bad situation with my Gap insurance not getting on the stick to finish paying for the totaled Kia I was driving prior. I saw the ad on my iPhone for Coastal Auto Group. even though I had no faith left in Auto sales and dealerships I decided to fill out the quick application online which was fast. within an hour or so I was contacted then ask some additional information and in around 2-3 hours I was approved. Justin was the salesman and did a phenomenal job of working with me. very nice polite and informative! this was the least amount of time I have spent doing car financing which is in its self amazing to me. I sent all my documents required to Justin through email and text. that dude was awesome and even answered every little text like , you're welcome and no worries. my experience with Coastal Auto Group was the best car buying experience I have ever had in my 65 years of living. what they advertise is true unlike most all other sales and dealers. got my Kia Soul and love it!!! low miles and a nice car that fits all my needs for my work. I had a mechanical issue with my Comanche before takeoff at KJKA. I taxied down to AeroPro and they immediately stopped what they were working on to help me. They spent time under the cowling and in the cockpit and figured out that my prop governor might need some attention but indicated that it would be ok flying back to Georgia. They would not allow me to pay them for their time. Great folks and I can't thank them enough for their time and expertise that allowed me to continue on my trip! Thanks again AeroPro!!! read more

Pilot/flight training at Gulf Shores. Plane rental and local sightseeing flights, too. The only pilot shop I've been able to find around here and they have a huge hangar for repairs and avionics. You can bring your plane for an annual, spend a few days at the beach, then fly home when it's ready. read more
