Avoid this place I have tried to contact the owner and they refuses to call me back. I spoke to the gentleman that answers the phone and he keeps telling me he's going to take a message and have the owner get back to me. Then he tells me the owners at lunch and he'll call me when he gets back or he went to get parts and he'll call me when he gets back and Has not replied! They chrged me for work they clearly didnt do,see pictures. I took it in for one problem and told them if they fix that problem then to do other miscellaneous items and gave them a separate list. They did not fix my original problem. They charged me for doing the other miscellaneous items, but did not do them. The motorhome is very large and I cannot get under it until I took it to another shop and they showed me where the work was not performed Included photos. Also all batteries needed to be replaced after I got it back to them. Apparently, they did not turn off the switch to shut off the house, batteries or the engine batteries and completely drains them. In fact when I went to get it, they had to jumpstart it so I could leave and I cannot get the batteries to come back up so I had to replace all the batteries a total of nine RV batteries at $400 each They also had my RV for six weeks. I took it over there. They told me they were busy this week, but they would get to it next week six weeks later they told me they can't fix the problem. had an air issue with the leveling system, I called, and I will give credit they worked me in. as I thought it was the air dump valve, my coach is an older one, curt did not have the parts, charged me $85 "inspection fee", said he would look for a valve, never heard from them again. I found the valve in less that two hours, I'll just make the repairs myself. not a business I would recommend when the can be bothered to call you back. my thoughts, the $85 was a rip off read more

We recently had some problems with our class a motorhomes dash air-conditioning. The pump locked up on our way down to Alabama. Foley Auto and RV was recommended to me by another RV owner in the campground. John diagnosed the problem, Curt immediately began to gather and order parts while Patrick started the disassembly. They got as much done as they could that day. When the other parts arrived Curt called and got me in that day so Bart could finish the job. Not new to the RV world (16yrs), but new to the Motorhome world - we needed some repairs done and found Foley Auto & RV Repair. We have a '94 Winnebago Vectra and if you know anything about RV's they "cost" to repair & maintain them. We had been to an RV dealership & a Big Rig Shop for our Spartan/Cummins/Allison set up. The RV dealership $$$$ (though highly rated) - we walked away with things not fixed and just wanting to get out of there. The Big Rig Shop $$$ fixed us the first time and the second time basically told us w needed to find someone else, so we left without the repair. THEN we found Foley Auto & RV Repair! What a difference from Night to Day!! Curt, who is the service rep (though we have seen him with his head under a hood) is absolutely FANTASTIC! Extremely knowledgeable and has an Excellent Reputation with Spartan ( I know because I called Spartan). From replace shocks (and finding the brake line crimped from a washer that was installed at the factory), replacing switches to our air brake system to a major job of a blown radiator - Curt, John, Bart & Patrick have just done phenomenal work. They have high end rigs (Newmar, Foretravel, country coach) to low end rigs like our Winnebago. But everyone receives excellent service. These guys know their stuff (we know because we have talked extensively with them). As we were passing thorough this area the air conditioning in our dash of our motorhome quit working. We called and they agreed to fix it the very same day. We also had the annual maintenance since we were there. Very fair price and excellent service. Even a spot under huge oak trees to hang out while we waited with our dogs. I had a little ooops in my brand new class A motorcoach. I googled rv repair shops and found Foley Auto & RV Repair. Took me a few wrong turns to find them but boy am I glad I did. I showed Curt and Mark the pics and videos of the damage I caused. They offered to reach out to Spartan to see if they could get the parts I needed and send them to me at the next campground I was headed to. They not only did that, they followed up on backordered pieces and got them shipped directly to the dealer in Georgia that was going to do the repair. Was driving through Mobile Alabama when my RV blew an exhaust gasket. Only nearby shop that could take it was Foley RV repair, just south of Mobile. Net is that it was repaired, and I've been able to drive a thousand miles since then, but the cost was several times what it should have been. Instead of just replacing the gasket(s), a $20 part, they ordered and installed a new manifold, cut up the old manifold, and charged me about 3x the value of the repair. It seems like they didn't have the right tools for the job. (I.e. a 6-point socket set--$20 at harbor freight). A good charge and repair would have been $600, which was full labor and costs for them. A decent, but slight overcharge would be $1000-$1200, which was full labor and actual costs for parts. Their cost to me was over $2000, which was parts costs x1.5 + full labor. Also, no written estimate, and I had to pry the old parts from them. But the first verbal estimate, including new parts, was $1000. So if you have infinite $$ and don't care where it goes, this shop may work for you. Personally I'm going to avoid driving through Mobile Alabama any more. read more
