Avoid at all costs. Your rep is not on your side. And getting either paid or reponded too is a gamble with them.

Wanted to work with Aerotek for job opportunities as i was needing a job. Came in did the interview and the paperwork, one form it asks you to list what you are looking for and what you wont bend on. Any job i was sent was out of the requirements i was looking for. Below 40 hrs a week, long distance commute and way below the pay grade I needed. I was able to find employment on my own. A close friend of mine was also working with Aerotek. She was placed in a company and her contract process was nothing more than a nightmare with Aerotek. It has been almost 2 years since I was first in contact with this company. I have emailed, and called NUMEROUS TIMES for them to LEAVE ME ALONE, and I am still getting phone calls and emails. I block every email address i get as well as numbers and now they are sending me emails for OTHER PEOPLE!!! This company does not listen to you. And when you ask to stop all contact they wont. I have been harassed for over 2 years! And the only sign i see it stopping is to change my number and email. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM!!! read more

The worst group of sociopathic recruiters I've come across in my 40+ year working career. They will lie, cheat and steal to screw you out of your unemployment insurance. They placed me at K&H printers in Everett, where I was forced to work with lowlife, scatterbrained tweekers, since Aerotek didn't bother to drug test. My vehicle was damaged and vandalized while I was at work. When I reported the damage to Aerotek recruiter, they went into "blame the victim" mode, lied and made up a reason to fire me. Of course, I didn't get my unemployment because, of course the State believed Aerotek and their BS story. This bunch is the scum of the earth. Avoid them like the plague if you can. I'd give them a -5 star rating if I could. There is a special place in hell for Aerotek recruiters. read more

Mediocre at best. They did reply quickly to my application, but beyond that my experience with this branch of this company was a complete joke. -The interviewer was over scheduling interviews (apparently around 15 minutes for each interview). And started my interview nearly 30 minutes late. -The primary interviewer was a commercial staffer. Not an engineering staffer as she implied in the phone conversation beforehand. -She clearly had not bothered to read my resume at all before the interview. As the primary interviewer read my resume, she noticed that I had an engineering degree and then proceeded to bring in a second engineering staffer into the interview. -Second interviewer gave some good advice as to some tweaks to my resume. Was marginally dismissive of my experience otherwise. -Interviewer did not return follow up email. Don't expect much of these people (or most of their branches). If your not a perfect fit right when they want you, for what they want you, they have no interest in you whatsoever. read more

I am a 30 year old office professional. I have a strong work history and excellent references. They did not want to work with me, feeling so confident that I would quit working with them as soon as something better came along. I told them that I never leave a job without giving two weeks notice. He didn't care. Unfortunately, being out of work for three months now, I found myself in the painful position where I had to BEG to work for them. I've never felt so degraded before in interviewing/applying with a company. When he finally "gave in," he said he had a job for me and that he would e-mail me the details. That was Thursday. I waited. Nothing. I followed-up Monday morning. He said the individual managing that region wouldn't want to work with someone with my background, essentially telling me that he hadn't even contacted this individual - he was just so confident that the individual wouldn't want to work with me that he didn't even bother. The other individuals who were filling out applications in the waiting room were not dressed for an interview - some couldn't even speak English. That's fine, but why am I, someone who has worked hard to build a career, given such poor treatment? read more

Aerotek is a great industry if you are in desperate need of a job, they will fix you up and set you on your way to independence no problem. However, they do lack benefits and after working for a solid year, it gets hard to maintain rent when you have 0 PTO and O sick leave read more

I went in thinking great there's people that want to help other people get a job. I went in, I was introduced. I applied to be recruited, went back to talk with a recruiter(don't remember his name but he was Hispanic.) I was dressed nice told him I'm looking for full or part time didn't matter and that I'd try any form of work. He looked at my resume made a bunch of assumptions about me like that I've abandoned my jobs when I never said that, the exact opposite actually. I tried convincing him that I would be trustworthy and a good hard worker but after all was said and done they say they have no jobs for me for the next 12 months and to reapply then. This is extremely inhumane for an organization to falsely say they'll help recruiting you but then just not do it based off of his biased assessment of me in a 10 minute discussion. If it's a resume issue, why the hell do they not have a little agency inside of theirs that helps people with certain problems they may have such as resume issues, personable issues, any sort of issues that can be resolved by them to better help a person be recruitable rather than just SHUTTING DOOR ON THEM. That's exactly what they did to me shut the door on me said they can't help based off of personal issues at least that's what I picked up off of it because they weren't giving me any reasons to not help recruit me other than bald ass fucking assertions that have grounding because they don't know anything about me other than what they made up in their heads. read more

Aerotek may be fine if you have no job restrictions...however, if you have restrictions, BEWARE! I'm permenantly disabled, with weight restrictions, yet, they were pretty much trying to coerce me to signing the forms with no real job description with weight limitations on it. read more
