I got a estimate over the phone when I called them which was inline around $450 for labor, they promised to call with a parts quote and then would go forward with work if I wanted to. I got a call that the truck was done , but did not ever get a parts quote ( I figured muffler tailpipe and a couple struts right can't be that much) I went in to get my truck and got a bill for nearly $1,100 for parts which I didn't get a chance to approve or know cost. I paid the charge and then when I got home got prices on the exact parts supplied online (got the strut numbers and muffler cost) Well from Amazon prime I could buy the struts for $103 each, and the muffler/tailpipe was $112. Also got other pricing from auto zone and other vendors so the overall price for parts ranged from around $340-450. I called and left a message I was not happy and didn't get a response so called back, I got a lot of attitude -We only use best parts -We mark our parts up 60% -ETC... I explained I have no issue with marking up your parts but you buy them wholesale cheaper or at least the same cost.. And I never got a price quote for parts to approve. I was deferred to I will speak to Vicky and get back to you .... that was nearly two weeks ago. I am not abject to paying for labor at the rates, or evan a fair parts markup... but unless they don't care about parts pricing to pay a 300% markup is way beyond acceptable . I guess they don't think people will look up price of parts so they jam them and then don't respond when questioned. there are a lot of options for repairs in this area I would avoid this place .

This is ridiculous! It clearly states that if I have a problem, I call them if I'm out on the road and they set something up with a mobile mechanic to at least get me going however they're telling me they can't reimburse me for a mobile mechanic so if I'm out somewhere on a trip and it breaks down, I'm screwed. The lifetime warranty is nothing but a sales gimmick to get you to buy from them. Stay away from this Scam business. You've been warned.

When we purchased our Motorhome (from a concierge service in New Jersey) I tried to find a local company to service our coach. When I called Chesaco RV, Joppa, MD I was told, and I quote: "... we only service RV's that we sell!" Fast-forward to last month when I was alerted to a recall on our coach. I was referred to Chesaco as the closest Authorized Dealer. I called the Gambrills location (approx. 20 miles away) and asked for service, apparently, I was forwarded to the Joppa facility. I explained the recall and was told that I had an appointment for July 15th at 10:00am Imagine my surprise when I arrived at the Gambrills location only to be told I had no appointment! They checked with Joppa and said that I made the appointment there! I did NOT! Joppa is 50 miles away on the other side of Baltimore! I was not a happy camper. They told me that if I left my coach they would order the parts and contact me when the parts arrived to schedule the work. I checked every day for over a week. Each and every time I called, I was told the service person was on a call and would call me back. That never happened! So, I called Camping World Manassas, VA and started the process there... I explained my experience with another dealer and needed help. They promptly filed a claim with Forest River, which was approved. This proved that Chesaco RV never did anything! Forest River would never approve TWO claims for the same vehicle. I went to Chesaco and told them that I was taking my coach to another dealer. They said they "... already submitted a claim and ordered the parts!" Simply not possible! After a very short discussion, I asserted that I wanted my coach. They were NOT happy but did bring it around and left in a huff. I drove my coach home and will NEVER return. Not that it changes anything, except to warn my fellow veterans! I am a retired service-disabled Marine Corps veteran. I strongly recommend that you NEVER do business with this company.

We signed a paper contract when they dropped off the unit, although I don't really remember signing a contract. But then 3.5 years later, they sent us a digital contract and asked us to sign it. But because I don't remember the paper contract, I refused to sign the digital contract. Even though we were paying every month on time for the last four years, they refused to give us one more month with the unit because we refused to sign the contract. Additionally, after returning the unit, my credit card was charged two months in a row, and I had to call the company to get a refund on my credit card. I would recommend the business because the delivery and pickup of the unit was simple. But everything else involved with renting this unit, I don't recommend.
