Dr. Walker took his time in answering my questions and was very thorough in his exam. He happily explained every detail in the process. I did not feel rushed. He is a very pleasant person. My appointment was prompt and I had no problem in making an appointment. Not sure if it was just my type of exam, but I did not have to endure the drops that require you to leave with dark glasses and that was my second visit. His staff was very good and they explained my insurance well. I highly recommend.

When I moved here everyone at work recommended the former owner, Dr Winesett. And he was so…read morefantastic that I talked my mom into switching to him too. But since he retired, everything has changed including the service. I was so unhappy about my last appointment with the new doc that I found myself wanting to write a review on it and looking for other eye docs online. The office staff are not friendly or welcoming. I was taken into an exam room literally walking past the patient who was leaving and was asked to put my chin on the machine before it was sanitized. I had to ask them to clean the equipment. The doc didn't spend 5 minutes with me, left and never even came back. Next thing I knew I was done and had to ask for my glasses and contact prescriptions, which the doc said didn't change but the lab assistant indicated a change. I had questions about my vision and my eye health but I guess my time was up. They didn't have my contact prescription in stock and didn't even offer to order my contacts. Again, I had to ask. It used to be that we could pay when they came in but that has changed too. There's no way to track my contacts and they knew from my appointment request that I was on my last pair. I'm just overall really discouraged that I have to look elsewhere and find a new eye doctor.
