So stoked CT is now legal. The location was convenient, the people were nice and professional. The budtender was super patient with my silly questions. The bud was good and eased my Lupus. I also appreciate the security. I would recommend pre-ordering and maybe make an appt if your new to it. My local shop in LA CA is similar except the budtenders take the order, they can let you look and smell bud samples, also products are displayed underneath so you can add on. Of course it takes longer but it's nice to smell stuff and see what's available. I suspect those who know what they want would do better ordering, ha. The best dispensary in Connecticut sure Cureleaf exist and a few others but let's be honest none of them can live up to these standards from Affinity everyone in here is really badass and down to earth the cannabis strains here are one of a kind you won't find nugs with love at any other dispensary. My favorites will always be Hauntrica, Loolica, Gorilla Glue, Indicol FG, all the indicas in here can put your mind at ease not one bad strain hopefully you guys will be able to release the gorilla glue strain in the near future. My favorite strain's to smoke are the sweet strains like Grapeden I really hope in the near future you legends will be able to come with a fruit punch strain that first hit from the bong would blow my mind good fruit tasting Cannibis strains and those most definitely do it for me. Mixing up the two operations was a huge mistake... every bit of the"personal" touch that kept me coming back is now MIA. Today was the final straw when they cancelled a confirmed order placed MONDAY evening and then made up an excuse rather than apologizing. I am a medical patient, and was told higher doses of THC would be available to medical patients. Not at all true. To get a medical license, you first must pay for your doctor to give you the recommendation. In the lobby at Affinity, they have cards and advertising flyers for the doctors from whom you can get the recommendation, and sometimes the doctors set up a table to try to snag a new marijuana patient. So they are there for the money. Next you have to pay for the license itself. The whole thing costs around 200 bucks to get your papers in order. Affinity pushes the medical card. They must be making a lot of money from having medical patients. You don't have to pay tax on it. That's nice. To my face, the manager told me that the medical menu offered higher doses than recreational. The menus are exactly alike. It was a total lie. Absolutely false. I sent an email to them, asking why that is, and I never got a reply, so they don't care about customer service, either. read more

Beware! This is the worst dispensary I could ever imagine. They do not value their customers or keep their word. Affinity will tell you everything is 20% off on Monday. They fail to mention that its only for certain items. I called before I came this Monday to make sure Id get the discount, and was assured it would apply once in the store. I show up here and am told that it doesn't apply to my order. They also promise some "thank you card" that they send you "sometime" after your first order that would have a 20% off coupon. I have not received one. The manager, Brandon, would not honor their claims and was extremely rude. I will never go anywhere near this place again and strongly advise that you dont either! read more

The front desk associates and security guards act wildly inappropriately. It is a free for all for them. Time to laugh, fall to the ground laughing, catch up with their friends who come into the recreational line, play peekaboo with each other through the glass partitions, etc. All of this took precedence over getting me in for a medicinal pick up. Right now isn't a good time for medical due to recreational sales that just began. All medical products that actually work are no longer in stock but that's for all the dispensaries in CT. Affinity has a big parking lot, all of the customers were mellow and civilized (lots of older folks), there's security, and it's fast. They post their menu online, you pre-order and choose a pick-up time, and paying in cash sails you through (they also accept ATM cards). The taxes (as always) are a killer, which should motivate locals to ask their doctors for a prescription. The employees were professional and friendly, not like the cliche of comely Cali "budtenders." Selection of flower/preroll and vape options are limited but solid. The dearth of edibles is a crime against humanity. No concentrates for dabbing. But, all in all, a welcome and safe place for anyone's need...the need for weed. read more

I've recently joined Affinity Health & Wellness, and right off the bat I was extremely impressed!! Positive energy would be a major understatement! Hard to believe, but not one staff member failed to welcome me to the Affinity "family" on my 1st visit. How refreshing is that I ask? ^^ Another huge perk is Affinity's turn around time on orders. I had placed several orders on different days, and all were ready for pickup in 5 minutes or less! I can't be any more honest when I say that simply has never happened to me in all my dispensary travels. Did I die and go to dispensary heaven?? :) Last, but certainly NOT least, I had the distinct pleasure of meeting the owner Ray, who I can't thank enough. We had a conversation on the phone regarding a strain that just returned after being absent for some time. A strain that offers tremendous relief from my M.S. symptoms. When it recently reappeared on the menu's of most dispensaries, I asked Ray as to why Affinity wasn't stocking that strain and he informed me that that particular strain wasn't in demand in that area. However, he was more than willing to contact the grower and work out some arrangement with me. I hung up with Ray as he assured me he'd get right back to me....about 8 minutes later? He called! He asked me how much I needed and with that said, it was a done deal!... "I'll put them in your cart" he said!! I do believe It was truly at that point when I went into shock. That wonderful, almost forgotten, olde world customer service is PRICELESS!! There was absolutely zero resistsance from Ray to look into this matter, and he made it a priority. This speaks volumes to me as a consumer!! I've asked myself what actually distinquishs one dispensary from another? Customer service. That's what! Here's what I look for in a dispensary: A positive environment, filled with people who care. People who take their time to listen to my concerns/questions. Affinity has got that covered BIGTIME....check! A good online ordering system with a fast turn around time for pickup. check! A full menu that offers a wide variety of strains, check! A very dedicated owner making it clear he/she is willing to work with you!! Check and double check!! It doesn't get any better then this folks!! No joke! Kudo's to you Ray!! Being from LA and moving to CT was a huge culture shock, in many ways. (I know you're saying, why?! lol, family stuff. nuff said) I had my medical card in LA bc of an illness. Although I'm in remission I still get severe headaches from the treatment. I was also a pro body builder and now am paying the real price for those plastic trophies and medals. So the medical marijuana is helpful for my issues with that as well. I hate pills. This place is by FAR the BEST dispensary I have been to on the East Coast! I recently have been diagnosed with CRPS. A very painful nerve damage syndrome. The manager, Brian, and the head tech, Gabbi, were nothing short of AMAZING. They looked up strains that were specifically for nerve damage and then got in touch with me to go over which one was best for day and night. WHO DOES THAT?!?! Now a days they just want your money. I've been to other dispensaries here, and in Mass. (waste of time and money if you ask me) They are helpful to a point, but not like Affinity. This place ordered what I needed. Explained how to dose it out. What to eat so when I ingest the oil so it gives me the best possible affect and in turn relief from the pain. It was the best match up strain for me since I was back home. Great Job Brain and Gabbi, Thank you So much! After that oil I actually slept through the night. I haven't with the nerve damage pain, its going on 4 months. Amazing rest. No loopy high. Just pain free and a good nights sleep. BEST AND LOWEST PRICES IN CT!!!!!!!!!!!! If you go anywhere else, again you are going out of your way to pay more and paying to just get a 'nod' with, 'yeah thats a popular strain' You do not get that at Affinity. I was spoiled back home with people knowing what they are doing. I didn't get the same type of info and help at other places I've tried here.
