Recently had a bad experience from rental car Affinity Erin Mills for a rented car by Audi dealership. Having waited for a long time, no quality and equality compare with my car it is ok understandable ! Finally charged me for 30 dollars ( 20 dollars for 9 dollars gas) . there is no matter for money the way they talked so many different an behaved completely not a good customer service. I booked on their website to reserve a car for a Saturday. I got a price, and went through the whole process. I was called a few days later to be told that they don't do single day weekend rentals despite their website allowing for such a rental. The new quote was over double what I was willing to pay and I had to return the car on a Monday when I would be work. Fix your website or fix your policies. What an exhilarating experience with an exotic Ferrari rental! My wife had me completely surprised for our anniversary this year. This has been a child hood dream of mine ever since I was young. The whole weekend went by like a blur... The vehicle was extremely clean, drove exceptionally well, was everything that you advertised and more... These guys are thieves. Quoted a price and it turned out to be double. The when we complained they added charges such as fictitious 'airport taxes' after they specifically advised us that they were not allowed to enter the GTAA for pick or delivery. The service was terrible and once they had charged us they would not respond to any inquiries regarding their charges. We have dealt with high end car rental agencies but these guys are bush league. read more

I was thinking of surprising my husband for his 40 th birtthday by having him drive a Lamborghini for a test drive so I called them to make a reservation which was done or I thought it was,,,then Ireceived an e-mail asking me what type of service I need so after I replied & didn't get the confirmation I called & I was surprised that there isn't any reservation under my name & that they don't hold the Lamborghini on Fridays because most of the times it will be rented so we agreed on having the test drive on Thursday instead of Friday & gave them my phone number in case there were any changes & insisted that this is my husband's birthday present & i want him to enjoy it to the max. After making all the arrangements,taking a day off & telling my husband that I have work to do @ Toronto ( because i was looking forward for this day) I thought it will be a good idea to give them a call which i did on Monday & here comes the surprise the Lamborghini is rented & won't be back on Thursday & they didn't even bother themselves & call me !!! Had no choice but to rent a car there becsuse they were all that was opened, gave us a an older car (didn't care). The rim was missing but they blamed us and are now making us pay for it. First off - Read the other review that starts off as 'Quite Possibly'. This person's experience is exactly like mine! My experience is not as much a rip-off as it is lies and deceit that I experienced not only from one sales person but from four of them! As soon as I mentioned I needed a car due to an accident they jumped on my case and lied in order to get the contract. Lie I say? YES! First off, I mentioned that I wanted a car for the entire duration of my own car repair - they said .. 'no problem we'll arrange that for you'. Then when they confirmed it was 'arranged' I was to pick up the car the next day. BEFORE I picked it up I called again to confirm that this rental agreement was for the entire duration of my car repair. "No problem it's all arranged with your insurance' the guy said. I had re-itterated to the guy that there was a limit on my rental policy so I didn't want any problems. 'Noooooo problemohhhhhh' he said. Then came the third lie. When I picked it up, I asked two guys in the shoddy trailer-office to confirm that I can keep the car for the entire during of my own car repair (how many times should I have said that?) and both said 'no problem it was all arranged directly with the insurance adjuster. So off I went and then, exactly $3,500 in rental fees later (my max) I get a call asking to either return the car OR I am to pay out of pocket. Imagine how furious I was after being lied to for the sake of their own financial gains. Corruption, unprofessional, disrespectful and the worse kind in the world of business ethics! My only hope is that you believe my word (I welcome feedback and questions) and that they change their ways. And to make matters worse, BMW Toronto referred me to these guys! Shame on all of them! Do not rent from here. We rented a Lamborghini for my Dad's 60th birthday. We had reserved it over a month prior to his birthday. These guys called us 5 hours before our reservation to cancel it. Their reason, somebody wanted it for the whole weekend. Only 5 hours notice! They offered no options, or sympathy. In fact the guy said we should rent the Bentley instead because Lamborghini's are for young people. They ruined the whole day. There are lots of other options in Toronto. Don't go here. read more

AVOID AT ALL COST!! I rented here once for two days and a month later my credit card was charged $500 for incidentals claiming I damaged the vehicle. When I called them, they said "don't worry your credit card insurance could take care of it!" DISHONEST. There are several other places to rent, don't get stuck in a situation like mine. read more

One of the greatest experiences of my life!! I was able to rent a Porsche Boxter using my points from my credit card. Unfortunately the Boxter was not available so I was offered the 911 convertible or the 911 turbo convertible for a little more money. I have always been a Porsche lover and this was my dream car. It was a 2006 so it had a little wear and tear which would be expected but the power in the car was phenomenal!! The service given by James and everyone else at their location in Oakville were great! Affinity Car Rental is a complete rip off! While my car was in the body shop, I was promised that they would continue to downsize the rental car I was in so I would not have to pay above the insurance amount allowance. However, when all was said and done, they put through a $2,000 charge on my Visa, and have refused to reverse it. I now have to dispute the charge on my cfredit card and hope for the best. Quite possibly, the most incompetent and worst customer service I've ever encountered (and that includes Rogers!). I used them for a longer rental while my car was being repaired (6 weeks) - the initial car they delivered to me wasn't the one I requested over the phone, with one tire was damaged and it looked pretty run down (esp considering they were charging $150/day!). After several phone calls, they delivered another car (other than the one agreed upon). They proceeded to bill my insurance for exorbitant rates based on the cars they delivered instead of the one I agreed to rent, despite my repeated requests to rectify this. I repeatedly expressed my worry over exceeding the insurance allowance and each time they said "we're okay dude". After one such call, I received a frantic call from them the next day saying that they had gone over the limit, but not to worry - "you can just ask the insurance company to up your limit". I could go on and on...but I'm getting annoyed just thinking about it. These people are incompetent and dishonest. read more

at your Thornhill car rental office, there is a person who is called kem, he was a rude ,unfriendly person. he gave me a wrong information regarding my driving licence(saying its invalid because of driving ticket, even-though it was invalid only because it was expired) when I got my temporary licence from ministry in same day I came back to office explaining him the fact that my licence was only expired , he called me idiot.I am not gonna give this company business anymore and highly recommend to others to do the same thing. read more
