Please do not try to cash a check at this location for any reason even if you have banked with them for years. This is a sad establishment to be represented by the FDIC. I highly recommend any issues to be reported to the Better Business Bureau if you choose to interact with this location. They are not wanting your business and they will make it quite clear if you request simple banking expectations and transactions. Local businesses would be better of not banking here based on how they serve the community. Those are our friends and families and they deserve better than whatever this location has to offer.

They promise you free checking accounts with $100 as a promotional offer. But they rip you off with charges if you try to leave. They have zombie tellers (good people really) but doing what they're being told to do by a corporation that has questionable ethics The Manager claims he doesn't have authority to reverse even a 7 dollar charge that seems obvious should not have been charged. I'm upset, but I also don't know whether to laugh or feel sorry for the guy. I'm not sure what kind of customer service he can hope to give without even that much authority. At my other bank, the customer service reps on the phone seem to have more authority than he does. People, PLEASE don't believe that your checking account is free. Remember they don't make profits by reinvesting your money, they make it by gouging you with 'gotcha!' type fees!
