The next morning, (Friday) I check on unit. Temp still at 50 degrees waited until the afternoon then called to request service to recheck, NO RESPONSE. .Check unit the next morning. (Saturday) Still at 50 degrees. Called again asking for service to return. NO RESPONSE. Called again on Monday AM, requested a recheck of unit. NO RESPONSE. $119.00 service call and tech on site for 40 minutes and didnt fix the issue. So much for the guaranteed service call the tech spoke so highly of.

(although I kind of understand because you can't necessarily gauge over the phone how long something will take to be fixed). But, what I liked: 1. Actually usually answers the phone or calls back fairly quickly. 2. Finds the problem right away 3. Fixes it right then or orders part for you 4. Comes within the set time frame (or calls you if any time problems) and (at least in my experience) fixes it fairly rapidly. 5. Is a friendly guy.

A man from Genesis Appliance Service came out to look at my oven. The temperature kept dropping. He…read moreordered parts, and I paid him $587.00 to fix the issue. He replaced multiple parts, and shortly after, my oven still would not hold a temperature. I called him, and he said he would get back to me once he had an idea of what the issue might be. I reached out a second time, spoke with him again, and he said he would get back to me. He never did. I reached out a third time and spoke with his secretary; she said he would get back to me, but he never did. This incident happened right before Thanksgiving. We gave him grace because of the holidays and hoped he would make it right, but he never did. Today, we have never heard back from him, and we would have been better off taking that money and purchasing a new stove. We were just trying to support local businesses. Save yourself the time and money, and purchase a new stove instead of going through the waste we endured.
