A man from Genesis Appliance Service came out to look at my oven. The temperature kept dropping. He ordered parts, and I paid him $587.00 to fix the issue. He replaced multiple parts, and shortly after, my oven still would not hold a temperature. I called him, and he said he would get back to me once he had an idea of what the issue might be. I reached out a second time, spoke with him again, and he said he would get back to me. He never did. I reached out a third time and spoke with his secretary; she said he would get back to me, but he never did. This incident happened right before Thanksgiving. We gave him grace because of the holidays and hoped he would make it right, but he never did. Today, we have never heard back from him, and we would have been better off taking that money and purchasing a new stove. We were just trying to support local businesses. Save yourself the time and money, and purchase a new stove instead of going through the waste we endured. read more

The tech William asked my wife unprofession questions and was caught in our in our bedroom and when asked if he needed help and why he was in there he didn't answer and shook his head real fast over and iverd real fast in form of NO. He also then was in hurry to finish the job. He was late and I heard him talking on his phone arguing with someone. I think his name is William. They are some very dishonest people and crooked in my eyes. read more

We contacted Genesis for a washing machine repair. Came out next day and got it fixed easily. We were happy with the service, but for some reason, they refuse to send a receipt for the repair. We have a small home repair insurance policy that helps cover appliance repairs and other common household repairs. They just need a simple receipt for the repair to cover the cost. After talking with the owner (who was also the technician) multiple times, and simply asking for a receipt breaking down the cost, we have been completely ghosted over the course of 3 months. I would think that it would be a very simple task. Each time I talked with them, they said they would get it over soon. The owner said to text him instead, so I texted many times without a response and it was clear that the messages were being received. I am not sure what the reason is for not sending a basic receipt - either unprofessionalism, hiding costs for service charges, or something else. The service was good but I would not recommend this company if you are looking for basic professionalism that should be expected of any local service company. Not following through on your word is not a way to attract and keep clients. Even for an extremely basic task like sending a receipt. Our expectations are not very high but this company failed to meet them. No concern for the customer. read more

Over the last three years Genesis has repaired both my refrigerator and dishwasher. Prompt, professional and courteousness service both times. I would not hesitate to call again if an appliance needs repairs. read more

We have had an ongoing issue with our Jenn-Air gas oven for a year. First contacted Genesis about the touch screen not working service tech diagnosed the problem as a motherboard needed to be replaced. That was installed but the oven bake feature would not heat up and hold the temp selected. Service tech then suggested teplacing another motherboard, bear in mind each mother board costs $1400-1500 that did not fix the problem, service tech then said he would discuss with Jenn-Air and another tech as to what we could do. That was in September I have sent multiple emails requesting information on what he found, no return emails no calls just flat out ghosted us. We now must begin the process again after spending close to $3000 the only thing repaired was the touch screen. read more

Very frustrated!! I had an emergency with my refrigerator on a Saturday. After doing a search for appliance repair in the Grand Junction area, this company came up as "open 24 hours." The first time I called, it rang quite a few times and then just stopped. No voice mail or anything. When I called again, someone answered and when I asked if they had someone available to do an emergency service call on a refrigerator, his response was "no, I don't really want to do a call today." Why are they even in business then?? Not only will I never call them again, but I will let everyone else know not to call them either. read more

Horrible communication. Well, make that zero communication. I finally called after the repairman never showed in the specified 2 hour window. He told me he had a family emergency. Which happens to everyone. But said he could still come out but would not give me an ETA. So I waited another 2 hours and nothing. I wasted 1/2 a day on these people. At 5pm I gave up and called another Appliance service. I received nothing from Genesis until about 2pm the next day. He guy had the audacity to tell me he could come out now and that he had phone problems the day before. They clearly have no idea what customer service means nor the slightest concern for their customer's time. Wow. read more

Terrible service! Said that the washer button could not be replaced and needed a whole panel but it was unavailable. I got online and ordered the push button for $25 and installed in 5 minutes. Also charged $120 to look at our refrigerator And said the seal for the freezer door and the defrost sensor it was no longer available turns out they both are available , I got online and order the parts within five minutes . After they looked at the freezer the icemaker is no longer working, we told them they have no explanation Why it stopped after they tore the freezer apart. Also when they replace the washing machine they left a huge mess below the washer. Definitely do not use this company use a professional company. read more

I guess them to repair my gas oven. The technician (who had "17 years of experience") fiddled with it for a bit and said it was fixed. I turned it on and clearly it was not. So he fiddled with it some more, said he had no clue what was wrong and called someone else who told him to replace the ignitor and spark control board. I found this odd considering it sparked and lit just fine, but shutdown before reaching the set temp. But I assumed he knew what he was doing. Boy was I wrong. 2 weeks later he arrived with the new parts and installed them, said it was fixed, charged me $400 and left. That same night, my wife used the oven to cook dinner and it malfunctioned the exact same way again. So I called them back and said it sounds like a thermostat issue to me. He came back again and said this time it was the touch pad control board which would be "at least $300." What?!? Considering he never tested any component with an electrical meter, (never in pulled a meter out). I said no thanks and he left. He'd lost my trust by then. The next day I watched some YouTube videos about gas oven repair and learned the thermostat (as I suggested to the technician) and blocked vents are 2 of the most common issues on gas ovens. So I got my electrical meter and tested the thermostat and found ​it was not working correctly. I also found the vent was dented in and causing a blockage. Cleaned the thermostat probe and removed the dent and it's worked flawlessly since. He left the parts he replaced with me after the first visit which I saved. I had a suspicion that there was nothing wrong with the parts that he took out of my oven so I decided to put them back in to test my theory and lo and behold there was absolutely nothing wrong with him. These guys are clueless morons. I had to contact an attorney to even get a partial refund. They have no integrity, are dishonest and if you check out Google reviews you can find that more than half of the reviews left are made by fake profiles from people like "Marah Sarie" when the registered owner of the company is "Sarah Marie." Coincidental? I think not. Furthermore, the owner of the company berated me, accused me of outlandish lies, said she filed a police report against me for harassment and that I would be hearing from the police, And that I already had a judgment against me on her behalf i​n response to a review I left on Google. But again if you look on that reviews, I'm not the only one they've done that to. Trust me, you don't want the problems that you'll get both personally and with your appliance if you hire these morons. read more

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had. Showed up over an hour late and than didn't return my keys for over a month. I called him daily and text but no response for weeks. Finally I got a hold of him and he brought me the wrong keys. I still do not have my keys. read more

I had an emergency refrigerator problem with leaking water into the fridge part and the compressor being extremely hot to the touch! Genesis Appliance answered almost immediately. Within the hour that I had called to express an issue, they came over, stated the issues, got the parts needed and fixed my fridge the same day! They are a family business, reasonably priced, and honest. They also offer a 30 day warranty. I would use them for other appliance repairs when needed! read more
