At 80, my trips to and from the nearby coin-laundry was very stressful, time wasting, and tiring during the last 8 months. In desperation, I started calling appliance services. None impressed me on the phone until I talked to "Meka" at Mayo in Sulphur Springs, Texas. She took away my anxieties. She scheduled an appointment. The team arrived when they said they would. They were courteous, efficiently professional, and fixed the dryer in less than 45 minutes. And the repair bill was much, much less than I expected. These appliance professionals SAVED me more than $1,526 dollars. Doing my laundry at home is now a welcomed convenience without the stress, and fatigue I endured for such a long time. For all of this, and then some, I will always be grateful to Mayo Appliance for what they did for this old man, and for my dog. We now have extra time to do walk-abouts. My next project with Mayo? Doing something about my dishwasher that has not worked since 2017. Back then, I was told by another appliance service (no more in business) that I needed a new dishwasher, and had to rewire my house. Maybe not. This was long before I discovered Mayo. I had the good fortune of having Mike come out to our home in Bossier recently to diagnose an issue…read morewith the ice machine on our GE side by side refrigerator/freezer. I called him in the morning one day after researching several other local appliances repair companies, and he was able to come out that very same afternoon. He was so personable and friendly, and within 5 minutes, he knew what was wrong with it. It was a very simple fix, and when he was ready to leave, he told me there would be no charge. I couldn't believe my ears. Any other company would have charged a minimum service fee, no questions asked. That really made an impression on me. A couple of weeks later, I called him again to check out 2 refrigerators we have that weren't cooling. Again, he made time to come to our home that very same day. He was here for 3 hours and worked diligently the entire time. By the time he left at 8pm, he had one fridge completely fixed and the other one accurately diagnosed with the part needed to fix it. The fee he charged us that evening for 3 hours of work was more than reasonable. The next morning, my husband went to pick up the part we needed at the supply store Mike recommended to us . In addition, with Mike's instructions. he was able to install it himself, which saved us some money. I really appreciate the excellent customer service Mike has provided to us and would not hesitate to call him again for any home appliance issue. In my opinion, he is the standard by which other companies should aspire to. I highly recommend him.
