Worst customer service EVER! Tried for WEEKS to get a golf cart rental for the winter while staying in North Fort Myers (started in October) and every time I called was told the lady who is over rentals wasn't there. So, if she over rentals, when does this lady work??? FINALLY, the third week of December, was able to reach this woman and was able to secure a rental. You would think that for a three month rental, you would get some kind of a discount for the longer you rent, but not this place. Almost $400 for ONE MONTH! Absolutely ridiculous when you can find used ones to buy on FB marketplace for $1500 and up. Have now been waiting for a call back for 2 days for a pick up time because we aren't paying another $400 for one month, and she still hasn't called back. So, I call this morning for a pick up time, and GUESS WHAT??? The lady who handles the rentals isn't working today!!! Not sure who owns this business, but you need to have someone there who can answer questions (other than the rental lady since she never works), or hire someone else who works and will be there to answer questions. This info should be in your computer system so that when customers call, they can be given the info needed. And although your prices were the lowest we could find, almost $400 a month for a golf cart rental is highway robbery, IMO. Discounts for winter rentals you would think would be standard, but it isn't. You've lost our business and when we finalize our home purchase next month, we will be looking elsewhere to purchase one. Lost a customer who would have been a loyal one since we are right across the street from your establishment. read more

Took my cart in for a repair. It was shaking while driving. It took several attempts to resolve the issue but they were very determined to fix the issue. They went well above to make me happy. I would recommend them 100% to anyone to let them repair there cart. Plus while I was waiting I notice they had some very nice carts for sale, used and new priced right. read more

I just moved my EZGO to the shop because was a little noisy in the rear, at the end after almost three weeks they just changed me $490 in Port Charlotte location and return me without fix it. Later when I did my complaint back to them they sent me to a north FM location, I been charged many fees including the pick up servic, charged me almost another $400 and return back to me with the same noisy issue. I highly recommend that you use Affordable if you need maintenance on your cart. I have a 2016 EZ-GO RXV. Affordable in North Fort Myers picked it up in August 2022 to repair an intermittent problem. The problem was that the cart, which has electric brakes, would lock up and refuse to move, especially when my wife was using it. The problem was intermittent so it was difficult to get the cart to lock up when it was in for service. After a prolonged service visit, Affordable diagnosed the problem as the controller. The controller was $950 and the bill, including other needed maintenance was $1500. We got the cart back and shortly, it locked up again. Obviously the controller was not the problem. After 2 more attempts to diagnose the problem over 4 months, Affordable decided the best thing to do was replace the motor/brake unit. Since replacing the motor/brake unit, the cart has operated flawlessly. Affordable did not charge me for any of the cart pickups or attempts to repair it over the 4 months, nor did they charge me for the motor/brake replacement. While this was a frustrating 4 months for us and Affordable trying to solve an intermittent problem, I thank Affordable for their professionalism during the process and for standing by their work. I purchased a brand new cart with many extras and paid a ridiculous amount for it. I went to visit family and was gone 5 weeks. Before I left I noticed the cart wasn't charging properly. When I returned my cart the batteries were dead. I reached out to Affordable since the cart was only a few months old. They picked it up and said it just needed to be charged? Meter read battery had a full charge soooo what does that mean? They charged me to do exactly what I did. Is it because I am a senior? They certainly weren't very friendly either. read more

I sent my cart in for a check over to have it ready for the season. The cart was supposedly checked over and I was told it needed batteries. I waited 3 plus weeks and finally they returned it without the new batteries. In fairness they said it would take 53 minutes to discharge however my wife and I have used it for 3 rounds of18 hole golf plus other driving on a single charge and it has never lost power. To be sure we have done this 2 times. I feel totally ripped off and question whether I need batteries. Upon calling and talking to Steve all I was offered was to see the bill and that it was his fault that it was not complete but tire pressure was no big deal and they did not have a hoist so they would not see the wire hanging down. The tire pressure was less than15 lbs in 3 tires and the left front was flat. One would think checking the tire pressure would have been a priority on a cart that had sat for 20 months. There was a wire hanging down almost touching the ground. I feel I paid $153 for nothing and all Steve could say was he must have returned it without the mechanic finishing his work after 3 weeks. . I feel I have received nothing for my money and was offered no consolation. I bought the cart there and have had it maintained there for 8 years. I won't be back. For any reason. My visit started of with a guy (employee)yelling and waving his arms about trying to park in their lot which has next to no customer parking. I was in a pick up. Once inside the rudeness continued. Every question was answered with no or never heard of it when the parts I was asking about are readily available on Amazon and elsewhere on the web. Thought I would shop local. Not worth the drive. Stay away. Try another shop I guess. read more

I recently went to this place and worked with Joe based solely on a referral. I didn't go anywhere else. I sat down and ordered my cart and Joe added all of the extras including what is necessary for my community (Babcock Ranch). He said he knew what I have to have which includes, turn signals. I received my cart and paid for it only to discover he did not add the turn signals. When I called about this and instead of a simple, hey sorry and it's going to cost another $250.00 Joe became argumentative, did not let me say a word and told me I had two choices. Pay the extra or return the cart. Had he been kind I would have paid the extra but because of his yelling at me I chose to return the cart. SO glad I did! I bought a brand new Evolution with way more accessories for less money than a used cart from Joe. There will be NO more referrals from any of us. We had a long 20 day wait for Affordable to pickup our cart to investigate our batteries (still under warranty from them) causing the cart not to run. Affordable picked up the cart after we opted for a suggested "Annual Maintenance Service" at a quoted price of $135 which included picking up and delivering the cart. A $20 fuel surcharge was not mentioned until payment was requested. We were contacted a week later with a request to approve $1700 worth of repairs including replacing the tires because they were "bouncy". We had to ask about the batteries and they claimed they were fine but were overfilled with water. We declined the repairs because we were not convinced all the issues reported existed. We requested the cart be returned to us. The cart was returned 2 days later with discharged batteries and well under-inflated tires. There were no signs of lubrication maintenance on the underside of the cart. Upon contacting Service Manager John by phone, he apologized for the tires not being inflated and offered nothing to resolve our concerns of maintenance not being performed on our cart. We were ripped off by Affordable Carts. Sadly, they have too much volume to be concerned about delivering a quality experience. read more

I purchased a rebuilt E-Z Go cart in Jan. 2016 for $6300+. After barely a year. I needed to replace 2 batteries. No warranty. Approx. $380. A couple months ago I had to have the front end aligned because the tires were being destroyed. New set of tires. Gauge was not working properly last week they took it in and I had to replace the other 2 batteries. Must have had an increase because this time it was $403.80. When they returned my cart, the next day I saw a tail light was out. I called to complain, and the service dept. fellow told me they checked the batteries, not a complete service. I said that's right. You did the complete service 2 months ago. I will not ever go back. read more
