I liked this place because they really did have good prices but recently I asked for a quote on a repot of spark plug change just labor i was quoted $120 that day this was 3 days ago and then today they are Price gouging TF out of it now there telling me just labor on spark plugs is $250 just crazy they are making up price's as they go please watch what you pay for if you don't know ASK!! read more

At the suggestion of a family friend, we took our mini van here because it was misfiring in one of the spark plugs. They had it for longer than they said, and then when we did get it back it wouldn't start. They took the van back for about a week when we got it back it was never the same. We paid them $1300 and then 4 months later we had the same issues again. Once again we took it back to these guys and this time they said we needed a whole new motor, and the cost would be $1300! Now I understand the van is older and has a lot of miles, but they should have diagnosed it properly the first time instead of charging us $1300 for a glorified tune up! Bottom line, they screwed us and our only vehicle over. Please stay away! read more

I am so happy I came here to get my car checked! I went to Lucus auto on grant rd. to get my A/C checked at no charge. they came out told me the problem was I needed a new compressor/dryer, evac+recharge.. which equal close to 2,000!!! my cousin told me it's a rip off . I searched and found affordable car care. Since I'm a single mom I was really afraid of being tricked and getting over charged. Ernesto made me feel I can trust him by giving me all the price he charged for the service I asked. He found the problem and gave me good news!! I never had to get a new compressor or dryer!! This place is family owned and has nice, polite people that run the shop. I came here when I noticed my "check engine" light was on one day when I was going to school. I took it there when I got off and they said they'll call me about the problem later on. Keep in mind that they will be busy because lots of cars were there when I went to get fixed from collisions. When I got the call, they said a belt had came off and that they had to replace it. I then came back up to pick it up, paying the price of $300. It may be a little expensive to get a fix on your car or truck, but this business is really polite and will fix anything that is wrong in your vehicle. I am going to use them whenever I come back for a fix on the engine. They also offer tune ups, tire services, and oil changes. I had my cruise control taken out by them because it was faulty and messing up the engine, so whatever your problem is, they'll be very specific with you. They are very detailed about that stuff. Need a particular fix on your car? Come on by if you live in the Cypress area and see how nice these people are at repairing cars. read more

I have taken my Vehicles to this place for several years. Just picked up my daughters cars from having the check engine light to be looked at. The car was over heating they did nothing but, reset the light. They told us that nothing was wrong with the car. Now my daughter is suck on the side of 249 and the Beltway with the Car over heating. This Co. will not even take our call. We have tried calling them from 4 different numbers and they act like they can't hear and hang up. I will never use this place again and will not recommend it to anyone!! If they will do this to a customer that has been with them for a few years, they suck!! read more

They are very honest people and charged me way less than what Drivers was asking for. We spent hundreds at another shop but they only made the issue worse, we had to park the car for several months and then we came across this shop that was able to figure out exactly what was wrong with it and fixed it within a couple of days. If I could leave zero stars I would, I took my truck to this shop because I was hearing a loud grinding noise from the rear end and when I arrived the owner came out and said let's take it down the street for a test drive. I began to drive down grant towards 249 and he immediately said that it was my rear differential and all the bearings, after I turned around to head back to the shop he asked "pull in here so we can see if my truck is done getting new tires" at this point I was like really dude you're joking. When we make it back to the shop they lift up my truck and the owner stays in and puts it in drive and just puts the pedal to the metal. I thought that it was only going to take two hard times of laying on the gas for the mechanics to hear it and know what it was but nooooooo he decided that he was just going to keep doing it. I asked him what are the chances of my rear end breaking while your doing that and he said "extremely high probability" as he laid back into the gas pedal three more times in what seemed to be a effort to break it right there so I was stuck paying the 1,480 dollars that they wanted for the job. I quickly got in my truck and went to my guy at break check and in 2 minutes and no test drive they diagnosed it as something inside of rear end and not the bearings and the drive shaft like affordable car care. They shouldn't even be allowed to have the term "affordable" in there title. This place sucks and likes to rip people off I asked my guy at break check how much it would cost me to get all the things that done that affordable said I needed and break checks price was $814. So that I'm of it's self just shows how much of a scam they are. read more
