These guys are the best on fixing your vehicles. Especially if you have time to leave it with them. I blew the heater hose and also had an idle problem with my 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500. This vehicle has over 270k miles on it and the original heater hose blew after picking my daughter up from Langham Creek HS. I was able to get there just as the temperature pegged the gage. Diagnosed that morning and had to order parts. The idle had to wait until that was fixed. Ended up being the throttle control sensor again. 4th one for this truck, as I found out by research, it's the most common replaced part for this model. The first 2 they got were faulty. 3rd was the charm and it's running smoothly again. Great work guys! read more

I initially sent my car to a well-known religious auto place in Miramesa but was not satisfied with their service nor pricing even though I had previously been a loyal customer at a different branch. Copperfield got my car towed very quickly to their venue and they actually diagnosed the root of the problem that was missed by the other auto shop. Turns out I did not have my battery changed after all. I did wonder why the other guys said I needed to change it when it was just changed last year... I would have given them 5 stars, but they did miss something during the checkup. However, when I took the car back they dealt with the situation professionally, telling me what was going on, how to fix it, and rather than charge me to fix it they even advised me to go to a competitor because it was in my best interest (I am moving soon, so they told me to go to a store with a national presence). Would like to thank the staff at Copperfield Automotive for their assistant with my daughters car. Multiple times I have taken my car someplace else and then taken it here for a second opinion and every time the price has been lower here. Additionally, there's been at least a few times that I didn't even need to have anything done according to CA but the other places said I did. There has also been a few times that they have checked out my car and didn't even charge me if there wasn't anything that needed to be fixed. I did a "free alignment check" at another auto shop and was told that my alignment and transmission system are both in very bad shape and quoted $1400+ for the repair. Too Long, didn't read: Do not bring your vehicle to COPPERFIELD AUTOMOTIVE. They rush jobs and neglect to perform the most basic of procedures. -- I took my car to COPPERFIELD AUTOMOTIVE after my clutch gave out. I showed up mid-day on a Friday. I was told by the front desk secretary that the mechanics would probably not get to the job until Monday. This was fine, I would rather have the job done correctly than rushed. Two hours later I was told that the job was complete and I can pick up my car. To my disappointment, my car was not fixed. My clutch was still sticking and my car had electrical issues. What amazes me, is someone had to drive my car out of the garage and would of noticed the problem with the clutch. Also, my hand brake was not engaged and the weight of the car was sitting on my 1st gear. I called the front desk secretary to let him know that the clutch was still problematic and of the electrical issues. He then proceeded to tell me how to fix the problems myself. Only after protesting this, did he tell me to bring the car back on Monday so they could bleed the system; the most basic of procedures required when opening up any hydraulic system. When I got my car home and opened up the hood, I was shocked to find that the oil servicing cap had not been replaced properly and was falling into the engine compartment. When I returned on Monday to address the issue, the front desk secretary responded with a smirk and a 'sorry dude'. So this cost me the price of the repair plus a day off. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place, I will never be returning to COPPERFIELD AUTOMOTIVE. read more

What auto place does that, and doesn't even charge you? Copperfield Automotive does. My truck hit 100,000 miles and the check engine light came on. I took it in, they had it for the day and said an emission sensor was out. They even called the dealership for me to see if it was still covered under warranty... because that's normal for an auto place. Nope, it's not, but it's amazing. HONEST as the day is long which is almost impossible to find these days. I will never go anywhere else. I just can't say enough good things about this business. We took our older model car that was making a noise, they said it was a loose hose that was leaking. $700 later They repaired the leak and we picked the car up. That night my daughter was driving it and said smoke was blowing in the car. We took it back and they said it was anti freeze blowing into the car and would cost $1500 to repair. They said it was a completely different problem than the original problem and they have nothing to do with each other! We spoke with the Owner he said he would not do anything and does not want to deal with the car anymore!! I find it really hard to believe they fixed a COOLANT leak and then we had COOLANT being blown INTO the air vents but they have nothing to do with each other!!!
