She scraped and jabbed at me so hard, when I went to rinse I spit out chunks of my gums and blood. My mouth was bleeding for hours afterward. In my 52 years this has never happened after a dentist visit. I told Carol that I felt she was being too rough. She said that my gums were bleeding because I have a bacterial infection because I don't floss everyday. I told her that I do floss everyday. She said, well, then, you're doing it wrong and I'm a very dismissive way tried to instruct me how to floss my teeth. This was a bunch of nonsense. I've flossed the same way my whole life, and I've never had bleeding gums. No, they were bleeding because Carole kept jabbing and scraping my gums with her tools. She cut me repeatedly. Instead of listening or apologizing, Carol just dismissed me and said I was the one with the problem. It was beyond her ability to imagine that she could have caused me any unnecessary pain or problems. I don't know if Carol is a clumsy hygienist or if she was just having a bad day, but I found her work to be inexcusable. I will not be returning to this office.

I know that is very cliche but I really mean it. DON'T GO HERE. I had four cavities filled, and not only did they have to redo two of them, they didn't even fix it right on their second try. I ended up going to a different dentist to fix all four cavities, and they told me I would have been better off if I had never gotten them filled in the first place--this place actually made my cavities worse. If you have any dental anxiety, don't come anywhere near this place. The dentist and assistants spend more time gossiping about coworkers than focusing on patients. The X-rays they take are blurry, and the whole operation feels like a money grab. It seems like the dentist is more interested in cramming in as many procedures as possible rather than doing quality work. The only positive aspect of this place is the friendly front desk staff, but that's not enough to make up for the terrible experience.

Patrice is my hygienist for the past few visits and she is great. I can't say the same about the desk staff anymore. The only doctor today is Dr Trapani and seems like he has a difficult case with one of his patients and everyone has to wait without having any of the office staff apologizing for the delay and explaining what's going on. It's time to have at least 2 dentist at all time in the office. I don't come just for x-rays and clean up. The most important part of a dentist visit is the evaluation to keep up with a healthy teeth. I am very disappointed that I a have to advocate for myself to want to be seeing by Dr Trapani, otherwise I was just going to be dismissed until my next appointment.
