Horrible experience at this place. The dentist is a nice man, but the office is old and unsanitary. My implant was drilled and placed crooked, and he actually damaged the tooth beside it with the implant. They don't even take an xray after placing it, to make sure it was done right. I I have been in so much pain, absolutely excruciating, and after a couple of weeks, the entire implant FELL OUT-screw, cap and all!!! I had been trying to reach Affordable Dentures for over a week and a half, and can't get a person on the phone. Turns out the dentist was out of town. I tried calling the main line for AD and told them there was a problem with my implant, and I was in pain, and they told me that the Lubbock office is a private practice, so they really couldn't help me. Who treats their patients like that?? Now, I have to see an oral surgeon to repair the damage that was done at Affordable Dentures, with bone grafting. There are more bad reviews for this AD dental practice on Yelp, four are hidden but you can read them by scrolling down the page. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER (BUT USED TO BE GOOD). Sad. They make good teeth, have good prices. I had mine made there in 2005. So I sent my husband there last year. If they EVER get done running him around, he will never go back & I will not recommend to anyone ever again. His top denture broke right in half while eating (breakfast) this summer at AZ campground. His bottom plate broke this week. You cannot call this office; you have to call the 800 number. THEY tell you they'll have someone call you back; NUMEROUS times we were told this over past 6 months & received no callback. This week they informed us at this office they NEVER call people. What kind of customer service is this? In 2 weeks he has been there so far 3 times, it's 90 miles one way. TWO times they told him his appointment wasn't today. After the last trip, he demanded they write an appt card with date & time. He went today and AGAIN they said no, your appt is next week. HE SHOWED THEM THE CARD & SAID, THEN WHO WROTE THIS?! JUST YESTERDAY?! He's been there since 10:15 this morning; it is now almost 1 pm and they're "trying to work him in." read more

There was a time I was very pleased with Dr. Vinings at Affordable Dentures. When he first took over the practice there I had excellent work done. Recently a family member needed work done and I recommended Dr. Vinings. To say that it has been a terrible experience is an understatement. After more than 6 months a usable set of dentures has not been produced. As of 7/18/18 (or a few days before) Dr. Vinings is no longer with the practice. His departure was very sudden. Another dentist in town said they have been inundated with patients who were left hanging including one who went in to get a partial and did not know all her teeth were accidentally pulled while she was numbed up. I don't have more info right now and am just hoping to get funds returned for the services that were not rendered and wrap up with this location as much as possible. I hope the new dentist will be able to straighten the messes out for all the patients. read more

Honestly, don't waste your time or money. The most unhelpful and rude people I have ever encountered. Terrible customer service. Be prepared to wait AT LEAST four hours. These people don't even care if you're happy with your dentures. Will be filing a formal complaint as well. This place is TRASH. Go to a local dentist instead. read more

Daddy took his partial on January 8th in to have a tooth replaced. As of this date, he has not received his partial back. They will not return phone calls so I went to the office. The receptionist went to the back to call the "Lab" that the partials were mailed to. She came back and told me that there was so politics happening and she would have to call someone else. Went to get new dentures about two years ago. When they brought my teeth in to try on the dentures were so far off of the shape of my mouth I couldn't put them due to the pain of them pinching! The girl sanded them for a minute ,I tried them again and still unable to fit in my mouth! It was about 5 o'clock on Friday afternoon and she said just go home and come back next week to fix them,because it's closing time. Well I live an hour and a half away, and it is supposedly a one day service. I told them I wanted my money back because with out insurance you pay up front and it was around 1200.00 bucks. They argued a bit then made me sign a paper that said if they gave the money back they would never offer services to me again. Why didn't they just do the job right! I say stay the hell away from this ripoff joint! What happened to good customer service cause they damn sure don't have it! read more

I purchased the Ultimate Fit dentures on 3/15/18 which has a 7 year warranty. The bad thing is that my upper has cracked 4 times and supposedly been repaired 3 times. Sorry craftsmanship, denture and repair. The warranty isn't worth the paper it's on and neither is Affordable Dentures. read more

This has been the worst experience. I don't know if I even saw a dentist, after paying one thousand dollars my dentures still don't fit well. I couldn't get an appointment with them for two weeks, after I kept telling them I was having problems with my dentures. Near the 100 days by one day. I saw them 3 times after I got my dentures and I still cant use my bottom dentures. I cant eat anything with them because they come out, every time. I wish I had gone somewhere else. Worst experience ever, I had visited back in 2010 and after one appointment for an adjustment I had no problem for 8 years I decided to have them redone new, my apt was on 3-21-18, I paid over $1,000 they say same day, that's not true, I came on 3-22-18, to pick up the new partials, they sat me at the end of the walk way handled me the partial and that was it, I had to make another appointment for the adjustments which was on April 3, 2018 they still didn't fit. So I finally decided to repair my old partial at another cost of $185.00 and to get a refund for the new partial. Today 4-4-18 I had an appointment at 1:00 to pick up my old partial which they were to repair, it was handed to me by the receptionist, I informed her I needed more repair on the bottom partial so again another appointment 4-17-18. The personnel is not professional, starting with the receptionist to everyone in that office. I never meet with dentist in this office. I recommend not visiting this location. read more

I'd give this business a thousand zero stars if I could. Visiting from SoCal and decided to get an upper partial at the Lubbock location as it was less expensive than the California locations. While there, trying to be fitted with the impression plate, one staff member was sweet and understood that my mouth was smaller than most, so she found a smaller tray and took the impression but apparently the other staff members were not told and they tried to stuff the largest tray into my mouth and wound up breaking the skin on my lips causing sores even though I told them that the other lady already took the impressions. After 20 minutes of this they finally discovered that I indeed did already have the impressions done. Next day, I get a call to come back and redo the impression as they lost the other ones. Each time I went, I had to wait about 45 or more minutes even with an appointment. So, finally, I get the impressions made, again with the same issues from the day before. This was on want May 23rd, 2018. I paid over $1000 for the partial and was told that it would only take 3 weeks to get them. (yeah right) When the 3 weeks were up, I call to find out if they were there and they tell me no. I wait a week later and call again, again no but they said that they would call me once it arrives. So I wait another week, no calls from them, so I stop in while I am in town. They tell me that there was an issue getting them done but they are on their way. There were a few times that I went to their office and they were closed even though both the call center and their website clearly stated the hours being from 8am to 4:30pm. Once I found them open, I asked them and they told me that they close around noon or whenever the last patient leaves and that the call center knows nothing. We were supposed to go back to California mid June but could not due to the partials being late. (you can imagine how much money that cost) I was getting very upset with the lack of communication and the fact that the partials were later than they said they'd be. So I went back, one more time to tell them that I wanted my money back. This was July 3rd. I had to wait 3 hours for them to finally acknowledge that I was there. Then it took another hour for them to track down the package. Come to find out, it was delivered 2 weeks earlier but the office was closed and the package got sent back to the shipping office which was 9 miles away from Affordable Denture. I was tired of waiting and they said it would be another 2-3 days for them to redeliver it, so I asked if I could just go pick it up instead. They agreed and gave me the info to pick it up. Originally, they told me that after the partial came in, I would need to have it fitted. But this time, they told me to go pick it up, take it home and wait a few days to see if they fit. Mainly because it was the holiday weekend, they were in a hurry to leave and were going to be closed for 4 days. But it is a good thing that I opened the package and returned to the office, if I had not, there would have been 4 other people without their partials. Yes, there were other patients partials and their impressions in the box mine had been shipped in. So, I gave them the box of partials and took mine, already not happy with the fit but agreed to try it out for the few days they were closed. I absolutely hated them. They were supposed to have been flexible with a full roof like a retainer, it had sharp edges that cut my cheeks and gums, they were missing the 2 back teeth, they were 2 shades too white and they were too tight and hard as heck to remove. Plus, I was told that I would be able to eat with them but I wasn't even able to drink with them, much less eat. The plastic was thicker than they said it would be and had a gap between it and the roof of my mouth. It was not at all what they advertised and it arrived way later than promised. I was already annoyed with how long everything took and now doubly upset that the partial was not what I was told I'd get. So, when they finally opened again, I took them back. I had already complained to both my credit card company and to their corporate office and apparently they already got the word as there was a guy from headquarters there. They told me that they could try and fix it for me but it would take another 3 weeks to which I laughed and told them that means I'd have to wait 6 or more weeks, no thanks. I explained to the entire front office staff, including the dude from corporate and every patient that was waiting for their turn about how unhappy I was with my whole experience. The staff tried to tell the guy from corporate that was there that they told me that there might be other teeth in there, which they did not. Had they thought other patients items would be in there, they would have never let me pick up the package. Finally, they said that the only other choice would be to refund my money.
