I didn't have an appointment or call ahead and instead, walked right in when I unexpectedly needed a mortuary service. Bill met us at the door and after I explained the situation he welcomed us into his office and said he needed to make a quick call so he could accommodate us as a walk in. Moments later he joined us in his office and walked us through our options very calmly and showed deep empathy all the way through. Bill was knowledgeable, experienced, professional, and personable. The pricing was reasonable and at no time did I feel like I was being taken advantage of financially due to the vulnerable circumstances I found myself in. The death certificate and remains were ready within 3 business days which was greatly appreciated. This is the best mortuary my husband and I have both experienced and we made sure to express such to Bill as well. I realize that's a bit odd, but I wanted her friends in both areas to be able to say goodbye. Struve and Laporte worked with the Sunnyvale Funeral director and we scheduled both viewings on consecutive days. The logistics were a bit challenging, but they really came thru for us. The chapel was beautiful and very comforting. They chose the perfect music and had the chapel set up in a way to be Covid conscious. I am very grateful to them for all of their help. Bob Struve did a great job for us and made a difficult time much more manageable. I would recommend Struve and Laporte to anyone. I was very impressed.

Before my dad passed, he mentioned that he prepaid for his cremation. I never asked him for details because I thought he was superman and would live forever. On November 24th my world was crushed. The cops who were sent to my dads house to do a welfare check found my dad in his home. He had been deceased for awhile. I live in Las Vegas and so as soon as I got there, I knew my dad would be there. The funeral home owner told me of the different options and he even helped me sort out the issue with Trident Society. They didn't cover anything by the way. It's a huge ripoff. ANYWAYS... He gave me all the options and was super professional and compassionate about everything. He made the time to talk to me and set everything up for my dads service. My dad was an army veteran and Mr. Woodyard handled all of those arrangements. My father recently passed away in Monterey and I was looking for a place in Monterey County to hold the service to be closer to family and friends.
