Monday morning, as promised, Jacob arrived to listen to my issue and perform a complete inspection of my system. He made recommendations of repairs with several price points. He corrected my specific issue and replaced all the rollers on the door to help eliminate any future issues. My garage door would not close because one of the cables had come off the pulley, and they responded very quickly late on a Friday evening when I really needed help. The technician was extremely friendly, professional, communicative, and took the time to explain everything clearly. At no point did I feel pressured into making a decision, and I want to be very fair about that. He showed me that the grooves in my pulleys were almost gone, which made sense since they are more than 20 years old, and he also pointed out that the cables were starting to wear. He recommended replacing both pulleys and cables rather than simply putting the cable back on, especially since the same issue could easily happen again soon. He also noted that my rollers were wearing out, and when I asked about replacing those too, he even contacted his manager and got that price reduced. So to be clear, I was not forced into any of these repairs. I agreed to them because, given the age of the parts and the fact that my garage door would not close, it seemed like the most practical decision at the time. My frustration is with the total cost. I understand that emergency evening service comes at a premium, and I also understand that I made the final decision to approve the work. But after everything was done, I looked up the cost of the parts themselves -- the rollers, cables, and pulleys -- and found that they can be purchased for under $100 total. That was incredibly disappointing to discover after paying more than $1,200 for the work. I do not work on garage doors myself because I am very cautious about the springs and the tension involved, which is why I chose to call a professional. Since it was late on a Friday and my garage door would not close, I decided to move forward with the repairs rather than spend time researching costs. Afterward, when I looked up the price of the parts and saw how low they were, I was extremely disappointed and came away feeling like I had been charged far more than was reasonable, especially since technician completed the work was done in about 90 minutes. So overall, this review is two-sided: the technician and the service experience were excellent, and I truly appreciated the fast response and friendly professionalism. But I am very disappointed in the pricing, and that is what leaves a bad overall feeling for me.

They always called 20-30 mins before their arrival window and sent a text with the photo of the person coming. A tech came out and examined our door and gave us some options that were reasonably priced. He was very professional and polite. On the day we scheduled the guy parked outside of the garage, introduced him then walked around the garage checking out what he'd need to do to install our new door and opener. He thanked us for clearing out the space so he could work and told us that it would take about 3.5 to 4 hours to complete everything. He stated he does two of these a day and ours was the second. Ok. Then he got to work. We offered water and a fan since it was a very hot day but he said he was prepared and thanked us. He was done in exactly the amount of time he said he would. I was amazed. A week out and the door and opener is so much quieter. Thanks Precision!

About a year later and several king tides and a bigger storm the cable had rusted. They then told me there was a stainless steel cable that was a new product. What nonsense. They could have changed it the first time to stainless steel and told me the difference in the costs. Again what nonsense. Charged me $600 to change to stainless steel so the cable's would not rust. I felt that because I was a female they took advantage. Stainless Steel Cables cost at max $35.
