If I could give a higher rating for Jason, I would. We have been full timeing in our rv for two years and having electrical problems for with our rv. We have had countless mobile rv techs come try to fix them. This time our chassis batteries were running down and our generator would not turn over even when the batteries were full charged. Jason showed up promptly and figured out the problems fairly quickly and fixed them. The charge for his services was very reasonable and he is very courteous and professional. We will absolutely call him in the future any time we have an rv problem and are in the Katy area. read more

I wish I could rate this company zero stars. Horrible service. Jason was 3 hours late for a scheduled service call and his excuse was he had to stop and get a pizza. He requested that I pay the invoice prior to performing the work so he could buy parts. Jason would not commit to performing the repair work after the service call. I had a nasty blow out on my small RV with lots of interior damage. I dropped my RV off at a larger Katy RV facility and it was going to take at least 3 weeks just for an estimate. A freind suggested I try a local small business, so I yelped and researched and this place seemed legit. I called and the owner Jason had my RV picked up in a few days from where my RV was at the local shop. I wrote a $200 deposit on 2-27 and was excited to know he would have it done and ready in a few weeks. We had several reservations in the next month for camping so we decided to tent camp and went by to get some of our gear from the RV where it was parked`over Fry north of I-10 somewhere. When we got there our unit had sat for over a week and the under belly was completly open and exposed to the down pour of rain we had. When we went inside we noticed nothing had been touched and in fact toilet paper was in the RV that had rat or mouse teeth marks in it. So critters were getting into the RV and pooping and messing it. We called Jason right away to fix this issue. I was not HAPPY to say the least. At this time I needed 3 new tires due to old tires and a blow out. Jason went on Amazon and sent me the link to order the tires for the RV. I placed my order, got my tires and dropped them off at the RV storage place. Only to find out that the 3 tires that Jason told me to purchase were a size to small. He said, "Send them back and I will purchase the correct tires." So that is what I did. In the meantime upon return, Amazon would not refund me $61.27 for the return mail and restock of the tires. SO we got closer to the RV being ready. Jason said he would clean up and make sure the RV was ready. There was an issue in regards to the kitchen sink. SO Jason called and said, "I know you are in a hurry to get your RV back however, The sink that was in there has to be ordered but I found on that is a little larger so would it be ok to replace it with a larger one so we can get the RV back to you in a timly manner?" Now keep in mind, I have only 1 sink in the RV. It is the kitchen sink and no bathroom sink. So YES I AGREED to a larger sink! A day or so later after the repairs were done Jason said the RV will be ready by noon to come and pick it up. SO excited as I was I went to the storage place to get the RV and my trailer was not there. I called Jason and no answer, I texted and no response. I had my husnband call and text and nothing. SO I went to his house and it was there where he was still finishing up. DID I mention that his shop is at his HOUSE? I approached him and he said, "Oh my phone broke last night and i have no way of contacting people sorry." NOT PROFESSIONAL We drove seperatly to WalMart to hook the trailer up to my truck, I paid him his final amount with out fully inspecting his work and was on my way. I set out to drive to Victoria where my husband works and where I stay for a few days at a time, and upon getting there and setting up the RV my husband notices wires dragging on the ground under the trailer. We follow the wires into the RV and it is the wires that Jason installed under the kitchen sink. The wires were under the sink were completley exposed under the sink where it could be a fire hazard and a safty issue. Upon further exam of the "finished" work and inspection of the trailer we were so VERY DISAPPOINTED AND MORTIFIED at his work. The wood that he used under the sink to repalce the shelving was very thinn and cheap. Wires were dragging on the ground outside under the trailer belly, and electrical wires exposed under the kitchen sink. The sink that he repalced that was supose to be bigger was actually SMALLER and the faucet were the water comes from when it runs, it runs so close to the back of the sink that it splashes out. Not to mention that the trailer was filthy. From all the wood that flew during the tire blow out was never cleaned up by Jason. A bathroom vent was left open and we had severe rain storms and our bathroom was wet upon pick up! AND the icing on the cake is when we went to HOOK UP OUR ELECTIRCAL PLUG out SURGE PROTECTOR was missing. So now at this point we are FURIOUS. I contacted Jason several times about these issues and guess what? Yep you guessed it NO ANSWER. I called Progressive our insurance agent Angella and she as well was very unhappy. So when did I hear back from Jason? Yup you guessed it, when he wanted payment on the tires he purchased for us. He sent me several text which I will not share at this time, stating that I owe him for tires that he purchsed for us! I TOTALLY AGREE with that statement, however I informed him that we are out of pocket for the return of the TIRES HE TOLD US TO ORDER and they were the wrong size. $61.27. Plus $120 for a missing surge protector. This is still not resolved! After several nasty text from Jason I told him to speak to my husband, and had to block him. BEWARE DO NOT USE THEM. read more

Jason was a big help I had a roof leak that tore up my ceiling and made the floors soft in that particular area. He gave me a good quote and I was quite impressed with how quick he finished the repair. The floors look better than new if you ask me, no more leaky roof and squeeky floors . Be sure to read the "not recommended review" on this guy. It sums up perfectly how you will be treated. He will price gouge you to the hilt. His behavior is frightening and his behavior is indicative of someone with either anger management issues or drug addiction. The parts he billed me were marked up 125%. I had to call him back the next day because the problem wasn't fixed and ended up having to just call someone else and pay them also to get my camper fixed. Worst mechanic experience ever! Seems like a nice guy who means well but he refused to acknowledge he was in over his head on my motor home. Abandoned the job and left the generator disassembled and damaged. Told me most parts were no longer available but I ordered them without difficulty. Not very experienced or knowledgeable. If I could give Jason with Affordable Mobile RV Repair a lower rating I would. Affordable Mobile RV owner Jason Jent unclogged and replaced a toilet in my RV. After he installed the new toilet there was leakage around the base of the toilet where it meets the floor and he did return to correct it. Was still leaking so called him a third time. He "snapped" at me that he was not able to diagnose the problem because I was not leaving the floor wet for him to see where the problem was coming from and he stated me continuing to call him was not cost effective for him, he works out of Katy, I live in Montgomery. He was so rude l said never mind I will call someone else which I did and when they removed the toilet the rubber gasket that should have fit completely around the pipe that extended from the toilet to the black tank was stretched across it causing water to leak on my floor. My drying the floor so it would not be damaged did not, would not have had anything to do with him making a correct diagnosis, the toilet would have had to been removed to make the diagnosis whether the floor was still wet or not, if he would have done this he would have clearly seen what the problem was. HE DID NOT DO THIS. Soooo, on top of his charge of $568.44 I had to pay someone else another $100 to fix the gasket that he installed wrong in the first place. Buyer beware............. read more
