Maybe it's time for this person to retire. I had used her several years ago and services had been great with attention to detail. This time around there was delay after delay and paperwork was not completed correctly. Finally had to have our daughter (a lay person) go to the court to get paperwork, complete it with assistance from court person and get it filed. We are extremely disappointed and are now going to file small claims court to get our money back for professional services that were not performed correctly. We came to her to save time and have paperwork completed correctly. This did not happen. read more

After finding myself in a position to need legal help, but not being able to afford a lawyer - because I had already been taken to the cleaners financially with my last lawyer - I knew that I had to handle this upcoming legal matter on my own. I signed up for a prepaid legal service. I was told that the matter, being of a real estate nature, was too complicated and I had to hire a lawyer. I can't say enough about how amazing Tabitha White and Affordable Paralegal Services is. I stupidly purchased an investment property with a friend, who almost immediately started trying to screw me out of it. Then, when it seemed things couldn't get much worse, she and her awful husband tried to sell the property without my authorization and keep the money! After speaking with a couple of attorneys, I realized that any equity I had gained in the property would quickly be eaten by legal fees, so I decided to take a stab at going it alone. Tabitha met with me the day after I reached out to her, listened patiently, and offered some great advice based on her years of experience (paralegals do all the work for attorneys, anyway). She steered me in the right direction and, a mere four months after filing the complaint with the court, we may have a settlement. It's unbelievable. absolutely pure robbery. she took advantage of me due to a death in my family. she said she would help me and i did most of the work myself. she didnt have any knowledge on probate except what she could look up. she filled out the paper work and got all the dates and names wrong she had to redo them 3 times. i asked for my money back because she just wasn't doing her part and i was more stressed with using her and she refused to give me any of the 1500$ she charged me. i have spoke to many parallegals and they say 1000$ is the max anyone would charge for a completion of the probate. yet this woman took me for a ride. i would not recommend her to anyone and im sorry she was referred to me. read more

I got a rather obscure Limited partnership contract rewrite, and have already tried several different services. They didn't solve my problem, they also didn't charge me for trying. I insisted they take at least an hour of paid time, and I got the feeling that they spent more time than that, figuring out that they couldn't do it. That's the kind of honesty that I appreciate.
