The law firm did a trust for my mother 25 years ago, with an amendment 12 years ago. She recently passed. I've worked with a different probate attorney in Redlands before, so will be using them for trust administration. That said, need simple documentation for Trust Certification. The Elder and Disability Law Firm will only supply me with a copy of an 86 page Trust document. There is no simple Trust Certification document - which should be standard so that banks and other organizations don't need to have the entire trust document. They just need the name of the trust and identification of the successor trustee. Do not understand how a law firm that specializes in this doesn't have this documentation readily available. They had the gall to tell me that the estates "new lawyer" should draw one up. I suppose this level of incompetence justifies using a different lawyer to handle the estate. read more

I've been working with Esther Wang and her team for several years now. I really can't overstate how much working with Ms. Wang has helped me and my family. I noticed a few reviewers mentioned that they were frustrated with some of the process when working with this legal team. So please, if you are considering working with Ms. Wang (or any attorney in his area of expertise), let me offer some advice from the point of view of someone who has gone through the process. Esther Wang and her team are highly specialized in this type of law. But it is complicated so it is a very involved process for her to review everything, advise a plan and help her client's execute that plan. In order for her to do that, she needs to accurately understand your unique financial, legal and family situation. Every client is different so she can only be as effective as the information you provide allow her to be. So as a client you need to be thorough in providing her with a lot of documentation so she can help. It was a little daunting for me at first but I'm so glad I was diligent in gathering everything that was needed even though it took a lot of time, work and communication. I will admit that there is a lot of back and forth during the initial planning phase so be prepared for that. Fortunately her paralegal Kristy is thorough in helping to explain what is needed and very knowledgeable about the process. Because of the legal foundation that was built for us, my grandma will continue to have a very high level of personal and medical care in spite of her medical complications. In addition to that, she will be able to leave her inheritance as she intended. The initial work was expensive for us but the financial returns and knowing my grandma will be well-cared for have been very worth it. Esther Wang saved us hundreds of thousands of dollars. I gave her lots of money and basically received nothing in return except for a whole lot of confusion by her staff. Every day a different person requested information that had been previously sent. I sent registered mail that they claim they never got, I had a receipt with signatures proving it. The communication was terrible. Esther is a great fast talking salesman, she should be selling used cars! The entire experience with her office was nerve wracking and stressful. Definitely would not reccomend! read more

I went to see Ester Wang to help me file for disability due to a brain injury that robbed me of my short term memory. I had to go back three times with information she requested. I gave her all the information and she told me there were too many physical issues and I didn't have a chance of getting it. I left there in tears wondering how I would be able to live because I could no longer do the job I had done for over 25 years. My sister told me to file anyway, and so I filed for it on my own. I was just approved for disability on the first try. If I had listened to Ester I would be homeless right now living with no income of any kind. I don't write reviews but felt that others who are looking for help with disability should go somewhere else for it, she is not helpful. If I could give her zero stars I would. read more
