They came and installed mesh gutter covers on all the gutters at my house about a year ago. Since then, the corners of the mesh covers have been lifting and they are not properly sealed. We've called several times to schedule them to come out and take a look and the woman who answers the phone has given us the same "we'll call you when we can get you on the schedule" ...we are their customer. Shouldn't we be put on their schedule whether it's in a couple days or a week? I called back and asked if no one has been in my area in the past 2 weeks because she said someone would come out within a week and she said "we schedule by the day so I can't give you an answer on that". No one has called to schedule us or anything. These gutter covers were not cheap either. It's disturbing that companies operate like this and have no regard for their customers who PROVIDE THEM WITH BUSINESS. read more

Had an appointment they never showed, no call. It shows they don't care about customers.

Poor, poor customer service! I called and set up an appointment to have them come out to look at and fix my gutter and downspout that was pulling away from the roof. They gave me a day but couldn't tell me an approximate time, only that they would call when they were on their way out. The morning of the scheduled visit, I called at 9:00 a.m. to confirm they were coming and was told yes, but it would be in the afternoon. So my husband waited, and waited, and waited. No call, no visit, no nothing. And now, the next business day, still not a word from them. I do not feel it is my job to chase down a service company for me to give them my money. Apparently they do not need the work or the $$$$. And we ended up giving our business and $$ to another company. read more

What a joke. They came and blew out my gutters with a leaf blower leaving a mess everywhere. They cleaned up but it was a half-a** job to say the least...still took me the better part of a Saturday morning to clean the mud and leaves they blew everywhere. They also installed new gutters.....which don't drain! I would not recommend them for any services. Severely disappointed. read more

They don't stand behind their work. I have called several times to have them come and fix a leak after they installed new gutters. I was always promised they would be out that day or the next and then I never heard another word. Got a bid from Affordable Rain Gutters back in Oct 2017 to replace gutters in backyard and side of garage. The man that gave me the bid, Kevin, said to expect a call to have the work scheduled. A receipt was given to me for the bid, but he didn't have me sign it (on the bottom of the receipt it says that an agreement to the bid is the same as a contract....ummmm....I don't think so...nice try). I called the company on 2 separate occasions to try to schedule the install (since they never called me) and left voice mails ( I was never able to talk to a live person). On the last voicemail I left, I said that if they didn't get back to me, then I'll need to go with another company. I never heard back from them. We put our house on the market (we were going to wait until spring, but with my chronic health issues, we decided to sell sooner-needed a house with no stairs). Since there were a few things we needed to do to get the house ready to sell (and with the money involved to do them), we later decided to forego getting the gutters replaced, since that would've cost $482 ($600, with downspouts replaced). Our house sold in two days and we moved on Nov. 30th. Second week of December, I received a call from an installer (JD) to inform me that he just tore out the gutters of our former home (even though the buyer of our home wasn't there at the time. I also never received a confirmation call or call that he was on his way) and that he didn't feel comfortable putting new gutters on since, once he removed the old ones, he discovered there was fascia board damage. I told him that we no longer lived there and explained that we did not have the actual work scheduled and that I tried to call the company a few times. I had to go through lot of red tape to contact our buyer about what happened. We were told by the title company that she worked with that it was now between her and ARG since we don't live there anymore and I was clearly not at fault. Since December, ARG still haven't resolved the gutter issue and so our buyer is still without her gutters. I was just informed today that I may be taken to small claims court by our buyer if the issue doesn't get resolved. I have since contacted the BBB and I have all phone records proving the attempted calls I made and that they didn't respond. ARG....pull up your big boy pants and OWN up! Fix what you did! I called for for someone to come and give a bid and surprisingly a man showed up the next day. He was pleasant, he said he could do the job, I picked a color. I called to schedule installation on August 30, 2019. It is now October 21, 2019, and after several phone calls to inquire when they were coming. Every time I called the lady would tell me the installer would call to set up an appointment. Now, 52 days later, they have not called and I have no rain gutter. They gave me a written bid, and apparently that does not mean anything to this company. Don't waste your time with this sad excuse for a rain gutter company. read more

Tim made a good first impression when he came out and did a bid for some emergency gutter work we needed. However that is where the customer service stopped. On several occasions he would schedule an appointment to come out to do the work then not show up. In the meantime it was raining and we were having increasing issues with flooding. We finally got tired of him not returning our calls or showing up when scheduled so we cancelled the job and had someone else do it. I would absolutely NOT RECOMMEND using TIm or Affordable Rain Gutters due to horrible customer service and lack of follow through. read more

I called Affordable Rain gutters after having some gutter issues on my house. They were quick to get someone out and look at my gutters. They answered all my questions and did exceptional work. Met Curtis at a home show and asked for an estimate. two weeks later curtis came out for an estimate . we agreed to an gutter install, after one month I called Curtis again to see what the install date would be he said he would call the next day. Two months later he calls to say he would like to make an install date within the next week. We totally forgot about gutters since it is Mid june and gave up on his service. Returned his call and left a message.We got a a text saying to call him later. 11 hours later no call from Curtis. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!! read more

They put our original rain gutters on our house, we had them caulk and clean gutters last summer, we called regarding a leak, they said they would be here in the spring, I have called several times, they never call back or show up. Tim (owner) came out to bid the job on Wed. Sept 4, 2013. ~Nice guy! He said he was busy but could arrange to have the gutters installed by Friday. Late Friday afternoon a worker called and said the "scheduler" had him booked solid and he could not make it. He said all the material was loaded into his truck and that he would definitely be at my house first thing Monday morning. I received a call at 9am Monday from the installer stating he was doing inventory and could not make it until the afternoon. I called the office and spoke to Tim, the "scheduler." He is about the rudest person I have talked to in years. He told me that HE makes the schedule, and the installer will be here when he tells him to be! Evidently Tim scheduled an 8:30 job for the installer; they lied about doing "inventory." He got in my face (ear, in this case), about how these jobs go. I told him I took the day off work so that I could be here for them. He said "what did you do that for? -99% of the people don't do that!" This was all in a condescending tone with him trying to put me in my place; ME~ the customer, they guy that wants to give him money! I cancelled the job! This guy is very, very, very rude and very unprofessional. I have read similar comments on other sites about this company. I thought at first, everyone is entitled to a bad day; this seems to be the norm for this company. Use extreme caution when dealing this individual. He appears to be a time bomb! read more
