They used common sense when deciding when damaged sheathing had to be replaced--didn't leave rotton wood and didn't spend extra money replacing good wood. They staggered the asphalt shingles correctly instead of laying them in rows up the roof with only a 6 inch overlap. They were ready with drip edge when we asked for it on the job even though we hadn't planned on that beforehand. They brought in a good sized crew who all knew what they were doing, worked hard, and got the job done quickly. They cleaned up the site well too. I hope not to need another roof, but if I did I would call these guys back.

They arrived early and left late, trying to complete the job of roofing our house and garage in one day, but instead it took a day and a half, due to replacing some rotten wood. They flashed two chimneys, installed new drip edge all around and replace the old whirly bird vents with ridge vents. They all worked very well together without chaos and confusion; just everyone busy, busy, busy. They left the work site spotless. Ours was an asphalt shingle residential roof over a house we have plans to remodel, but needed a new roof to protect it until we made decisions about where to put the plumbing vent stacks. Mason told us they would come out anytime during our three year warranty to put boot caps on and seal up two future vent stacks. Mason always called before coming and was always here when he said he would be. He kept us in the loop with delays due to heavy rain and made a special trip to bring me the color samples. On-site project supervisor Austin communicated with us on the progress and time estimates during the re-roof. The job was completed in two days, as promised. The crew kept the property tidy, with tarps and daily cleanup, plus used a magnetic device to pickup errant nails a few times each day. We have dogs, so they were especially careful to retrieve all the nails. The crew did an excellent job, with good workmanship. Austin took photos each step of the way, to keep on record for us. I'm now left hanging to seek an alternative contractor on my own. The work they did complete, eventually, was fine. The project management, communication and customer commitment was abysmal. Never again.
