The company was hired to construct a 4' by 16' external staircase with a 4' by 4' platform half…read moreway. For some reason, they made the stairs only 3' wide and placed the railings on the sides rather then on the steps. This resulted in the railing height being below code and the top flight at an odd angle. They placed an arbitrary post in the middle of the top stairs to try to compensate for this error. The stairs look very wonky. The inappropriate height can result in someone going over the side. There was $500 in excess vinyl railings (we purchased the materials) that could have been returned for a refund but they harvested a few connecting pieces from the boxes making it impossible to get a refund. When asked why they didn't simply purchase the connecting pieces separately, they stated it would have taken a few days. Apparently, they felt it was more important to complete the job a day or two early at our expense. Do not hire them to do any work other then concrete.

Rollers and cables were replaced...$423. Garage door worked fine....for a day. November 13th. Door is once again doing the back and forth dance, requiring three or four attempts before finally closing or opening. November 13th. Called for service again. Appt. set for Friday Nov. 15th. All joints are perfect. They stained all the beams and tongue and groove boards before they did the build. We were so pleased with their work that we actually had them replace some siding, soffit and gutters. They cleaned up the worksite each day before they left for the day.
