Apparently my card was declined this month (simply because it had expired and needed to have the expiration date and CVV updated). I had simply forgotten I needed to update French's when the new card went into effect. If the owner had observed the courtesy of phoning me at the number she has on file, we could have solved the situation in a couple of minutes, and she'd have had the money in their account by now. Instead, she chose to send a snail-mail nastygram with "CARD DECLINED" stamped in red and a late fee added. When I called to rectify the situation, the owner (I assume she's the owner) was very abrupt and extremely rude. She claimed to have sent several bills (I've received NONE) and to have called the phone number she has on file (I've had NO calls from her, and BTW, our answering machine is working perfectly). If you want poor customer service and a complete lack of basic business courtesy, rent from French's. Otherwise, steer clear and find another storage business.

There have been multiple instances where while bringing in groceries for her while I vist, where he has verbally yelled and harrassed me including making threats because she is unable to bring the garbage can up a steep hill and to the end up the driveway. Most weeks when I dont have time to run over to her house, she gets the garbage can a few feet away from the sidewalk. I understand this isnt ideal but this man is more than capable to move the can an extra five feet to his truck. He continued to scream and harrass myself and my elderly grandmother including saying "hes from NY so hes not going to take it" to A 83 YEAR OLD WOMAN. Seriously, my storage unit's floor is so clean you could live on it (but you cannot live in these, of course) :) Call them!
