Why isn't 0 stars an option?!?! This is a nightmare of a company. I missed the red flag when they answered with "Hello"... that's it! The fear of answering with your business name should have said all I needed to hear but this company is a no! They came out and "cleaned" out our septic supposedly. Once problems started on the inside, we called and could never get an answer. Of course, when we called from an unrecognizable number... "Hello" They said they would come by and check on it but they never came back... they did clear my check though, all $350! We finally called a different company and they explained that the sewer had not been cleaned, there were 2 sides and one side was never opened before. I finally called from another phone and "Hello". I explained everything and demanded a refund. That was a month ago... nothing! Please do not use this company! If I get my refund, I will consider removing this review but until then... ugh!!! horrible company, 3 hours late, then would not complete pump out, waited 5 days, all I got was excuses, do not use

I had a horrible experience with this company. Their response time was great. Same day service, however their truck overflowed and got sewage all over my driveway and backyard. Because their truck was full they couldn't completely empty my septic tank and their suction hoses emptied across my back yard. The worst part was when they were loading the suction hoses back on the truck one fell off and the metal hose fitting dented and scratched my personal truck causing $1000 worth of damage. They have repeatedly promised to make it right but it has been over a month and nothing. Now I will file with my insurance company and have to lose thee deductible. Poorly managed company. Installed an undersized pump. Caused my yard to back up. Came back and said my yard was wet because I had a bad d box. I told them to fix it, I didn't know any better. Turns out I have a T and J system with no d box. They tore out a panel and added a d box in its place and buried it. This caused major problems. Water from my septic was pooling into puddles. They said they will come fix it for free. Never showed. Excuse after excuse. Money lost. I had to pay another company almost 5,000 dollars to fix their mistake. The health department gave the OK for the repair. Thank goodness I didn't have to buy a whole new line because of these nimrods. The guy that fixed the mess also said that he has fixed other mistakes this company has made. One example - he found a septic tank lid where they just busted a hole in the top to shove the hose in and buried it again. He asked the homeowner who pumped their tank last. Sure enough, Affordable Septic. Health department said they have had several complaints from this business. I would avoid this group and only get repair work from people that bring permits. I wouldn't even give 1 star if it was an option. This company came out a year ago and pumped what I thought was supposed to be our septic tank. Turns out after it was inspected today because we are selling our home, the idiots never pumped the second side (the solid side). . They only pumped the water side which the guy that pumped it last year said wasn't bad at all and didn't really need pumped. Well I guess not Mr. Rip off... you didn't pump the other side which NEEDED pumping. They are refusing to come make this right for us and pump it for FREE which is only appropriate because they only did HALF the job last year and we are just now finding out about it!!! We paid for a WHOLE job, they did a half ass job, and now they think we're going to pay for it again. Nah. Find another company to do business with because these people are jokes. I forgot to also mention, they SLAM the pole down on the lids... I watched them literally break ours and they tried to say our lid crumbled and we needed to buy a new one. Got over yourselves. I sat there and watched yall break it and you expect me to pay for a new one? Nah. It was a hassle and a half to get them to replace what they broke. May 2020 - My husband and I called this company to clean the septic tank at one of our rental properties. There response time was great and they went out the very next day. Only the female tenant was at home during their visit. They supposedly did the work then let the tenant know they were done. They contacted my husband to receive payment in the amount of $400. We received a call the next day from the husband tenant stating that the issue had not been resolved. My husband begins calling Affordable Septic and they would not answer his call. My husband called numerous times; no answer. The next morning he tried again and at this point they begin sending him straight to voicemail. I called from a different number. When they answered the phone they were very unprofessional. They answered "hello" and did not answer by stating the name of their company. I asked if this was Affordable Septic out of Rural Hall and they said yes. When I stated the address that I was calling in reference to they hung on me. When my husband went to the rental property to check out the work that was supposedly done only half of the tank had been somewhat cleaned. He took a 5 ft shovel and stuck in the tank and approximately 4 ft of the shovel was covered. This clearly showed that the work had not been completed. We then had to contact a second company to come assist in cleaning out the septic tank. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO COMPLETE ANY WORK AT YOUR HOME!!!!! Unfortunately I had to give them a 1 star rating when their quality of service doesn't even rate them that high. Zero stars in our book!!!!! read more
