Over two years later and trany still runs like new, WOW. Full size crew of professionals that handled the job most failed to want to take on, under Mike's EXPERIENCE and direction they took care of rebuilding trans along with extras, the best shop of the seven I visited! The best! Thanks Mike.

Koz my salesman and services staff of Affordable Trani was fantastic. Spot on on recommendations and had our 1969 Dodge Charger ttani rebuild done there. Very efficient at a reasonable price and all work completed in 1 week. Even recommended a cooling system and installation at a reasonable price. Koz and the mechanics are the BEST! First of all, this review is for people who are used to going to typical auto shops. You'll have a…read morebetter experience if you know what you're getting into. Alberto's isn't your typical automotive shop. There's no waiting room and it's kind of difficult to find. That being said, the father and son who run the shop were very nice and efficient. My husband took our vehicle in for an oil change. The price wasn't cheap, but it seemed about what other shops were quoting so it was fair. And everything is more expensive right now. It's always scary trying to find a new automotive place. We picked Alberto's because the Yelp profile said they had a waiting room and their reviews were good and they had supposedly been in business 20 years. I think their Yelp profile needs updating because they don't have a waiting room and the father told us they've been in business 2 and a half years and the son said 4 and a half but Yelp said 20 years. So we don't know what to believe, but they did a great job! :D I don't want to give the wrong impression. We would go back there again for an oil change. We prefer supporting small businesses. I just think you need to be aware of what you're getting into so you're prepared for what the experience will be so you don't judge them too harshly.

People do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for your transmission repairs. This place is a…read morejoke. I've been in the automotive industry for 10+ year I've installed over 75 of this exact transmission never without a problem. I recently within the last 3 year made a switch to heavy equipment and just didn't have the time to do the work myself. I removed my transmission out of my Tahoe took it in to do a exchange and I good transmission which the supposed to of have in stock. After waiting for a couple hours I was informed they did not have the trans I needs so I needed to come back and get it at a later day. That was strike one. So when I finally got my trans back I installed it. Drove around for a bit maybe 10 miles or so. The next day I decide I'm gonna take it to work (30 miles away). Well on the way to work I lost 4 gear. So I called and let him know what was going on and he wanted me to bring it in. So the next day I took it in the whole Tahoe. That's strike two So he looks it over and calls me. This guy tried every excuse he could think of to put me at blame for his transmission failing. After a very heated conversation ( I told him not to touch it we would figure it out with the BBB) he tell me he's gonna fix it "and if I wanted to pay him for the extra repairs he was gonna do then that's fine if I didn't that was fine too". So after a week or so it's done. So I go in to get it and it was another 500-600 bill. So I paid it after all he did do the work so I felt it was only right even tho it was his trans that failed within 40 miles. Strike three So here we are 6 and 18 days later and guess what? It failed again. So my wife calls just to find out with they would honor any kind of warranty. The guy gets on the phone being super disrespectful and angry. And surprise surprise he will not honor his work. Pretty much told us to bad it's not my problem anymore. So please people for the love of god do not take your vehicles to this shop. Mark my words you will regret it. For all the money I ended up paying this guy for the shotty work and now I'm gonna have to buy another trans I could of bought a brand new trans from GM. Oh well live and learn I guess. Not all business owners are trustworthy.

Well let's just say that if you have any other options than going to this shop DO IT... this place…read moreI a complete joke.. 6 months ago we had our transmission go out so my husband who has been working on cars longer than I can think just didn't have the time to rebuild it so we looked up places and found this place they where supposed to have the same transmission in stock so we pulled the other one out take it up there and they didn't have it like they said they did... so my husband ended up leaving WITHOUT the new transmission and the man told him that sense he didn't have it liked promised he would deliver it to our house and pick up the other one at the same time(we live an hour away) so my husband gave him the benefit of the doubt and guess what no delivery and one excuse after another so we ended up going there to get the new one and put it in and within 3 days it went out this man accused my husband of breaking it and installing it wrong and on and on and then we take the whole truck to his shop and ended up paying an extra $500 for them to fix something they didn't fix properly in the first place... and that brings me to present day and here we are broke down AGAIN with a transmission that has lost 3rd and 4th gear and a very rude and unprofessional so called mechanic who tells me on the phone that it's not his problem it's 18 days past the 6 month warranty so for us to figure it out on our own... so the moral to it all DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP they are rude and unprofessional and don't honor there work and blame the customers for there crappy work... and don't care about no one but them selfs they are only out to take peoples money and not deliver there part...
