A few days later Kevin called as said "...he'd thought about it" and would deliver the rest of my firewood. .. next I'd forgotten about the firewood situation and asked for a quote to remove a fallen tree in my yard. Kevin office sent me quote to remove the portion of the tree that had fallen in my property (the tree was a neighbors' tree). I asked Kevin if the tree portion that had fallen on my roof could be cut and moved to the neighbors side.. could I get a new quote? Again, he let me have it!!! (just like to firewood situation) Kevin responded that he didn't need to be "nickeled and dimed" and I could forget using his services. Again, it took me by surprise with his response that could/should have been a professional (none emotional "yes or no" to my question) So a warning to anyone dealing with Arlington Tree Service and "Kevin" that he is ready to tell you off and add with a disquieting "have a blessed day" if he doesn't like it/you. From the beginning, they were communicative and thoughtful in their planning. Robert walked through the approach with me ahead of time and clearly understood the importance of protecting the surrounding property. Plus, he showed extensive knowledge and offered helpful insights. One thing I've come to really appreciate is when people plan timing with you on projects. We set the target date for the job and only had a caveat for potential adverse weather (late February).
