Someone smashed the passenger window of our car. I made an appointment with a different company that promised to arrive the same day. After losing most of the afternoon, someone called to say they couldn't find the window and couldn't help after all. I called AFG around 3pm to see if they could help. Initially Said (Say-yeed) told me that it was too late to assist me that day. I called back at 3:30pm to find out if he could help me the next day. He heard how stressed I sounded and said he had someone in the area and would have the glass delivered to the mechanic. I was so happy to get help after 4pm, with glass for an older model vehicle. Mansoor was thorough and dealt with a door cover that was tricky to remove. He inserted the new glass and put everything back together on my door. The cheapest price I could get from another company was $153, for the next day (between 10am - 12noon) not counting the time it would take to repair the car. I had plans to take a trip early the next day. Thanks to someone being willing to come the same day, I was able to keep my plans. Sometimes time is just as important as money. We don't have a garage. I had concerns about not having the window fixed. I was relieved that I didn't have that issue. This company is just like AAA. They service the DMV area. They have emergency road service. They jumpstart cars, fix windshields, windows and more. I paid $189 plus DC tax. read more

In today's world, finding an honest, skillful, and kind gentleman like Mansoor who works for AFG Auto Glass it was truly a miracle. I had my driver's side door window smashed by someone while I was at the dentist. There was glass everywhere and I called the police to make a report. Then I started on my journey to get the damage repaired. Neither my insurance company nor any of the 10 companies listed on the internet could help until next week. That was unacceptable because I could not drive in the cold and wet with the broken window. I call AFG and Mansoor said he would come and fix the broken window in 45 minutes. I was amazed at his skill and could not have been happier that the damage was fixed. Not only that but he was so kind and kept me informed every step of the way. I wish that all vendors could provide the service as Mansoor did. I would have given 10 stars if I was able. Do NOT Use AGF Auto Glass!! AFG Damaged my car and caused $1252 of body and paint damage and broken parts. They do not use an assist arm during installation and hit both window stanchions, the top of the hood, and broke the bottom trim. He also cracked the new windshield ~15" during installation. AFG inspected their damage at Caliber Collision and refused to refund the cracked windshield they installed for $869 and pay for the damage repaired at Caliber Collision. I've notified Saiid, Michael, and John of my request for refund and reimbursement of damage costs and they will not return my calls or emails. They do not honor their website warranty even if they broke the windshield during installation as in my case. read more

S'aid was my installer. I have a BMW and asked him if he has replaced bmw Windows before, and he said yes. At 1st glance, I thought everything was perfect. He even put some dealing in the top of my front windshield because I told him it seemed loose. He inspected the little nicks in the front windshield as well and told me that they weren't going to spread, so there no need to repair those He vacuumed really good and had the window in place in no time But the next day, I take the family to dinner and my wife noticed that the door handle to the window He fixed didn't go back into place like it used to. It just stays in the open position until you push it back. Then I noticed a tear in my front windshield tint near the area. He sealed for free. I made an appointment the next day, and no one showed up Called again 2 days later, they apologized and scheduled another day... no show again. Sayed came and replaced my auto glass. After he left I noticed that there was a wire hanging out between the windshield and dashboard. I called right away but he did not pick up. When I drove the car next day, I heard wind noise and noticed felt the air coming in. I have been calling him for 4 days but he didn't pick up. Finally, he picked one time and promised to come fix it but did not show up. And of course now he is not picking up his phone again. AFG Auto Glass came the same day I called and the total was $100 less than the company my insurance put me in touch with. I called in the morning, they told me around 4PM and that the tech would call when he was on his way. He called and gave me a heads up in the late afternoon and then showed up right on time. I contacted AFG Auto Glass December 30, 2022 at 8:45 a.m., to get my windshield repaired. The technician, Said arrived at my location in two hours. Once Said looked at my windshield, he let me know that the crack was too large to be repaired. He told me that I needed to get my windshield replaced and contacted dispatch to find out the cost of the replacement and when it could be installed. Said ordered the replaced and returned to my location on December 31, 2022 and installed my new windshield in 30 minutes. Said was pleasant and very knowledgeable. My overhead door got into a territorial dispute with my Ford Explorer's windshield ... the windshield lost and was rendered unsafe to drive. Got a real human being even though it was after 7p and by 10:30 the next morning Sayed was here from Sterling VA and I was back in business before lunchtime. If I can give them a zero I would they said they can work on my old 1982 corvette but when they came it was the tech first time he was learning on my car it took him over 4 hours to replace a windshield and he did not do it correctly , they kept promising me that the tech will stop by and take care of it but they never come and now they don't answer my calls from my cell phone but if I called them from a deferent phone they will pick up they are dishonest and should not be in business I contacted the BBB and filed a complaint . This is the most dishonest company I have ever worked with. They performed incomplete work on my car and did not show up for two scheduled appointments to fix my windshield calibration (originally included in my quote). I've tried to get in touch with them countless times to resolve this and they simply won't answer their phone. I gave 2 stars because the window was replaced, however, the overall was a very poor job. I was not at home when the technician changes the window in the car. So I came to check the job after It was done. The door panel was not properly installed the clips were out and some clips were broken. Then all the glass from the broken window was inside the door, he did not even bother to remove the broken glass. I basically had to do half the job and buy new door panel retainers clips. read more
