    Suya Chicken + Spicy Plantains

A must visit!! AfroBites is one of the best meals I've had in a while!! The Suya chicken was perfectly grilled and flavorful the rice was great. You can't beat the spicy plantains and collard greens as your side! Do yourself a favor and go visit this food truck!!

This food truck is one of my favorite places to go on a Friday afternoon for lunch. The jollof rice, fried plantains dibi lamb and Black Eyed Peas stew is my favorite go to. They are only open up on the weekends, but it is definitely worth the wait. The service has to be top-tier. They are so respectable and nice every time I come. The weight is only about 10 to 15 minutes, but the food always comes out fresh.

If you're looking for food that's more than just a meal, this place offers a true culinary experience! I tried the Piri Piri chicken on a bed of Jollof rice, with a side of plantains, AMAZING!! The chicken was spicy, but not too much, and the rice very aromatic, each bite takes you on culinary trip! Their homemade drinks are phenomenal; the Ginger Pineapple was my favorite, but I also loved the Bissap (hibiscus & mint), and the Mango Lemonade, I ended up taking a bunch of them to enjoy later since they come conveniently bottled. The best African food I ever tried!!

Oh. My. God. Wow! Saw this place on my way to eat Chinese and I couldn't help myself but to stop. Sorry Mr Chen's but this was a change of mind I do not regret. I've had Ethiopian food before and loved it, so wanted to give this Senegalese cuisine a try. It was absolutely incredible! The spices of the Suya chicken were delicious, the chicken cooked perfectly with so much flavor, and my goodness that Jollof rice was to die for. I'll definitely be coming back!

Tried Whole Hog while visiting Little Rock just this week. Food was really quite good. Had ribs and…read morethe rub is good--nice and tenderly cooked. Family had brisket and pulled chicken, all of which is good. Nice variety of sauces if you want them. The sweet is too sweet for me but my wife liked it--I had the spicy and it was good and not crazy spicy either. Oh and try the corn if you go--that stuff is delicious!

While most of my meal was enjoyable I had a very large bone in my pulled pork. I do understand that…read morethese things happen I would expect the manager would be at least a little apologetic about a clearly bad experience. The manager was present as I was voicing this issue, she looked said nothing and then continued to nonverbally dismiss my complaint. The only thing that kept this experience from being worse is the EMPLOYEE that took our order was apologizing to me. I give the manager on duty two thumbs down, because she said nothing and then turned her back on me as if my complaint was nothing. The other employees there apologized for the negative experience. I would expect the manager to have handled this better. I would strongly advise Whole Hog to train this manger in how to handle customers better. I know we all have bad days but, that does not make it ok to just dismiss my complaint. I even said as the employees were apologizing to me, "I mostly just wanted the manager to be aware." And even then the manager said nothing except nod at me. Whole hog can contact me directly to correct this, because this is a concern to me as a consumer.
