The food is incredible AND don't forget the drinks! They appear to be made fresh and are WAY better than the packaged cans/bottles you can buy. I'm still dreaming about the pineapple-ginger and the tea. Notes on location: we went in the afternoon and decided to take the food home because there was no shade. There are picnic benches. Mohammed and the team were beautiful, pleasant and warm. They had great customer service and for that a lot when I'm back in town I'll be sure to visit! All of our food was delicious!! Straight up 10/10!! Everything from the hibiscus juice, mango/lemonade juice to the beef and lentil empanadas! We ordered curry chicken, puya chicken, shrimp, collard greens and jollof rice. OMG this food was hot and delicious! They don't have patio seating so we ate in the car. It was a bit of a wait (for obvious reasons) but it was well worth it! This food truck is one of my favorite places to go on a Friday afternoon for lunch. The jollof rice, fried plantains dibi lamb and Black Eyed Peas stew is my favorite go to. They are only open up on the weekends, but it is definitely worth the wait. The service has to be top-tier. They are so respectable and nice every time I come. The weight is only about 10 to 15 minutes, but the food always comes out fresh. read more

The chicken was spicy, but not too much, and the rice very aromatic, each bite takes you on culinary trip! Their homemade drinks are phenomenal; the Ginger Pineapple was my favorite, but I also loved the Bissap (hibiscus & mint), and the Mango Lemonade, I ended up taking a bunch of them to enjoy later since they come conveniently bottled. AfroBites food truck has some of the best food in Arkansas! Nestled in the parking lot adjacent from the Islamic Center of Human Excellence, the AfroBites food truck always brings the vibes. There is a very peaceful aura near and around this place that makes you feel good. I am convinced all of the food has been blessed and prayed over several times. The parking lot looks like it's recently been redone or updated with more dedicated parking spaces instead of a free for all asphalt lot. This makes it even easier for them to bring your food to your car when it's ready. The service is friendly in a way that reminds you of being a guest in someone's home. Regardless of who has been at the register, I've had a pleasant experience with the staff each time. The food itself caters to a lot of different healthy lifestyles and diets. Their menu is set up a lot like chipotle or other fast casual restaurants where you can pick a protein, a base, and 2 sides. There are plenty of vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian options for main and side courses. I highly recommend the peri peri jackfruit for any vegans. The jerk or peri peri fish & shrimp is also pretty good. Meat eaters will be happy too! The dibi lamb is absolutely delicious. You can feed any and everyone here and I love a menu that versatile. Make sure to try the spicy plantains & curry cabbage. I had never had one of those before coming here. I'm also a big fan of the lentil patties. Oh. My. God. Wow! Saw this place on my way to eat Chinese and I couldn't help myself but to stop. Sorry Mr Chen's but this was a change of mind I do not regret. I've had Ethiopian food before and loved it, so wanted to give this Senegalese cuisine a try. It was absolutely incredible!
