So I found this place online and gave it a try! Dylan was my server and he was fantastic! He made pretty good suggestions when I had questions and never steered me wrong! Thank you Dylan! First, I ordered the strawberry Caipifruta (Dylan's suggestion) and it's made with fresh strawberries and lime. Then out came the pao de Queijo (my usual favorite at a Brazilian steakhouse). Soft, cheesy and buttery. Always a safe pick if you're new to Brazilian. I then ordered polenta which had a different texture than I'm used to. A nice thin crisp on the outside but soft and mushy on the inside. I do like my polenta extra crispy so I requested that after I had a few. As I'm munching on the polenta I hear sizzling behind and here comes the Picanha dinner. Super hot and I had to wait until the sizzling oil fizzled out. Be careful here (as some of the oil splattered on my arm and on the table) but the flavor was amazing! I ordered it medium and easy to cut through, melts in your mouth, overall a wonderful dish! I then ordered the 4 layer pie and it is very creamy in terms of the layers but the crust to filling ratio was nice. It was a nice quiet dinner and sat next to a kind elderly couple who almost asked if I wanted to join them (as I was dining alone). Food was delicious so many wonderful choices. I wanted to try several meals just based on first impression of what's available on the menu and the amazing ingredients. Very happy with the food that we chose, delicious hot and fresh. Also, so many gluten-free options, I was truly impressed. I haven't been able to have hot bread with dinner in so long the cheese bread appetizer was delicious. Our server, Marco was amazing, super interesting, friendly, and took care of us!! We were travelling to Arkansas from New Jersey and searching for a place to eat that was not the typical fare. We were so pleased to have found Cafe Bossa Nova. The restaurant has a trendy yet comfortable vibe. There is a full bar and fun and inviting colors. I love that they have photos of all their dishes online. We tried the chicken bites and the polenta. Yum! For dinner we ordered the Chicken Stroganoff, the Chicken Crepes and Picanha Na Chapa. It was delicious! My husband and son split the creme brulee for dessert and they loved that too. Ordered to go food 7/14/25. It was legit 1/3 portion of the size it is in the restaurant but the same price. Ate in the restaurant 7/18/25. The coxchinas were cold and the restaurant temperature was a good 85 degrees. People were fanning themselves and 2 fans (I think) were running. This restaurant needs help! From my appetizer to the main course we had i was not disappointed. Also the wings?! The winfs were beyond great... i was literally craving the wings my whole trip in Little Rock. Found this neat Brazilian cafe on my business trip in Little Rock, Arkansas. Cafe Bossa Nova had friendly service and very flavorful dishes. I started off with evening with the Pão de Queijo (cheesy bread) and the Coxinhas. The cheesy bread was so good I ordered some of the bread to take back to my hotel. I loved the chicken and cheese filling in the Coxinhas. I decided for the main course I would try the Strogonoff de Frango and was in love with this hearty dish, perfect for a chilly evening in Little Rock. First time customer. I barely got inside before I felt welcome and appreciated. In no time I was convinced I was going to enjoy my experience, and I was right. I asked for and received excellent recommendations for cocktails, appetizers, and entrees. I had the chicken croquette appetizer (Coxinhas) and the steak Brasileirissimo. I really enjoyed my food here. I went in trying to catch a quick bite in between appointments. The staff were very friendly and seated me quickly. My server was very kind and went through the menu with me which I greatly appreciate it. I tried their lemonade and I will say that it is quite tart. I even tried to dampen it a little bit with sweet tea but it did not work. I ended up sending it back. I ordered the kale salad as well as the shrimp pasta. It was so good! I overate and I was happy about it. I wish I had some room for dessert but I could not. I will definitely be coming back to try some of their other options and was told that it's very vegan / vegetarian friendly. Although I am not, I do like to partake in certain foods at times so I will be going back in recommend others go back as well. One thing I will say is that the restaurants bathroom is on the other side of the building which was a little awkward. There is private parking for this place and that is always a plus for sure. Funny when we came in is the fact that they have nearly no Brazilians or Portuguese speakers there and that was pretty funny. I mean perhaps cause I am used to New York where you can find all sorts of nationalities. We had a pretty slower than usual service but I am not sure that because it is a different state things are different as far as service speed or if this was an actually slower than usual kind of place. The pace is very well decorated and the owner was pretty friendly coming by our table to say hello and ask about our experience. A la carte! here is not a rodizio or a eat by weight kind of place. they do a la carte. CAIPIRINHAS- they have caipirinhas for sure!!! they also have them in different flavors made out of real fruit. I had a regular and a strawberry one, I must say that the regular was far better, there were super large chunks of fruit and it was a bit annoying to get them through the straw. SALSICHA E MANDIOCA- this is yucca and sausage, these 2 are meant to be a appetizer for a day of beer drinking but we went for it. not the best choice I must say, it will fill you up way too quickly and the flavor is nothing special, do leave this appetizer truly for that beer drinking night, it best I must say. PAO DE QUEIJO - those are the cheese bread balls and they are very nice, I have eaten them since a young child and they are so cheesy and nice. they are tapioca flour breads so they are also gluten free (keep that in mind!) these cheese breads are always a great idea, so this is a must if you have never had them. FEIJOADA- they have this meal on Saturdays, this is a very typical Brazilian dish that I would recommend anyone to try at least once. sadly here they do not do the traditional restaurant and family style way I am so used to, here they serve the dish as a regular a la carte pre made plate, also I noticed it came with an weird different piece of meat that I was not sure what it was, but I give the benefit of the doubt, perhaps where the power comes from that boiled inconspicuous chicken meat is something that is expected on a feijoada. with that said, the feijoada itself was pretty nice and tasty. the chicken thing was ok... but very confusing to be hones. I rather not have had that in there. overall it was a nice plate. Overall it is interesting and nice to find a Brazilian place to eat here in the area, the downside is that as a Brazilian I was hoping for a little more life at the place. Everything was perfect from start to finish! We started with the pão de queijo and coxinhas (forgot to take a pic of these but they were amazing!!) I ordered the rice and beans with steak and it was delicious! It was a very hearty dish! For dessert I had the layered pie which was sooo good! Each layer was more delicious than the next! It was a very light dessert, the perfect finish. And last but not least, the service was impeccable! Svetlana was the sweetest and most professional server.
