I can't say much for their service, as it took a while to get attention at any stage of my visit. Even so, when the house special lentil soup arrived, I wasn't impressed. It wasn't tremendously flavorful, with a hint of lemon but not the level of spice I would have expected. However, when my okra arrived, I was quite impressed. I ordered it because the menu promised pomegranate and fenugreek seeds, the sort of combination that if I tried to cook with I think I'd fail, but the weird and interesting clash of flavors was highly effective. The high spice level I asked for burned throughout. Strangely, dosas (crepes) are featured heavily on their marketing, but on their website were buried in a "special menu" which I didn't get in person. Having had a dosa the day before, I didn't push the issue. But between this and the Indo-Chinese dishes they offer, you can definitely find some interesting food here.

The staff was a little awkward, but nothing that customer service over time won't buff out. They also did not refill my water or my boyfriend's water at any point in time. -3/5 Naan.. fluffy and crisp. We got the naan basket for 14.99. It comes with 4 different naan. I really loved the naan. Better than Taj Mahal. -5/5 Curry could use some work. It looked like baby... yeah. Felt like it was old reheated curry or curry that's been sitting for too long. Anyways it was good but didn't stand out very much. Honestly tasted similar to one another and we got two different types of curry and meat. Within 20 minutes it began curdling and the oil started separating. I don't like that. Price was okay.. Everything is pretty much 14.99-16.99. -1.5/5 Ambiance was nice. It was nice and fancy but the incense was so bad. I had to go home because my head started hurting and my tummy started hurting too. It didn't help that we were sitting next to it as well... -1.5/5 Total spent: 60$ / 53$ price / 7$ tip Edit: We came at 4:53 pm and got food at 5:17 pm. Finished at 5:43 pm... Seems like they didn't cook the curry within those 15 minutes and just used an old pot of it. :/

At this restaurant, you go to the counter and order first. They even have a little bell for you to ring if they're in the back of working. Great service overall. I started with the chicken 65 and it was so good. The chicken vindaloo was so flavorful and delicious. I loved how there was so much sauce as well: the picture doesn't look like much but once you mix up the rice and the vindaloo, you'll see how delicious it looks too. The portion was exactly right and the spice was perfect. You should definitely feel the spice kick. The naan got really hard as it cooled down and was almost too hard to break or bite off. The chicken 65 and spicy chicken vindaloo are definitely worth a return visit though! Loved it

Highly recommend. Banana Leaf is hands down the best Indian food in Little Rock, and what makes it…read moreeven more special is their innovative Indian fusion menu. They take classic Indian dishes and remix them with other favored cuisines in a way that's exciting, bold, and absolutely delicious. My go-to? The shrimp currito--a perfect fusion of Indian spices wrapped in a burrito. The flavors are rich, the shrimp is always cooked just right, and every bite is divine. I also love the veggie gyros. And let's talk about the salmon options! Whether you get it in a vindaloo or tikka masala, the fish is perfectly tender, coated in rich, flavorful sauce, and absolutely hits the spot. If you're a seafood lover or pescatarian, this is the Indian food you didn't know you needed. Oh, and the fried chili broccoli?! Listennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn . It's crispy, sweet & spicy, and so damn good, it'll have you questioning why you ever settled for basic broccoli. A must-order every time. Beyond the food, the service feels like being in your auntie's kitchen--warm, welcoming, and always making sure you leave full and happy. The one con? Their hours. It's a weekday lunch spot only--Monday through Friday, no weekends or late hours. I wish I could get my Banana Leaf fix after hours, but I guess that just means you have to plan ahead. That said, this place is worth every visit. If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out on one of the most creative and delicious menus in the city. Five stars all day!
