We have been coming here for piano lessons for 2 years now and we still absolutely love it! The owner, Jiye is always so very sweet and welcoming and knows all of the students. All of the other staff have all been very friendly and are always on top of any calls or emails we send. They have the cutest recitals and during the holidays they go out of their way with decorations and the kids absolutely love it! All of the teachers we worked with have been amazing. Everyone is so professional and knowledgeable with impressive credentials. We love our current teacher Ms. Anzhela, who is so sweet and warm with the kids but also challenges them to maximize their potential. Our daughter has improved tremendously since working with Ms. Anzhela because she is able to focus on her strengths while also fine tuning areas that need help. She is always prepared for each lesson and provides detailed feedback afterwards, which is very helpful. She motivates our daughter to practice and work hard so she can learn her new songs and show her what she has learned. No matter how tired our 9yr old might be, she never wants to miss a lesson with Ms. Anzhela! She is a gem and we couldn't be happier having her as our teacher! I admittedly am living vicariously through my son's life and this is especially true with his music class at Afterschool Conservatory. He is taking the toddler level class called prodigies bells class which is composed of a series of colorful bells with associated notes. The instructor, Mrs. Hayden is so talented and patient! This is such a great class to introduce music to your little ones. He is learning so much and is having a great experience. The class is 30 minutes long which is a perfect amount of time. Within that time, a bell is introduced. The bell is played and the associated note and hand symbol is learned. Mrs. Hayden utilizes coloring and singing while teaching music. They will leave with homework and the parents are instructed on the homework. Looking at the homework, this is a legit music class! Mrs. Hayden is so great at making the class fun. She is talented and has such a great singing voice and can definitely play the piano! She demonstrated how the bells can be used together to play a song. So impressive! I started and gave up playing the clarinet. I will not let that happen to my son. He will learn music without realizing it through the fun Prodigies Bell class at Afterschool Conservatory! read more

Can't stress enough how great this place is. All of the practice rooms are clean and well organized, and each instructor my son has worked with has been incredibly knowledgeable (and very patient). My son particularly likes Joey, who teaches Piano as well as Guitar (that I know of). The schedules are incredibly flexible, and I like the credit system they have in place. Basically, you opt out of one of your scheduled appointments and you can then select a new appointment at a different time and date, and even a new instructor! The stamp incentive is great for kids, my son has long been ogling the prizes he could get. It's been a real treat to watch my son learn so much and quickly start to outpace my own musical knowledge. ASC is amazing! First of all, it's very easy to schedule and reschedule- they ALWAYS pick up the phone and provide guidance! My daughter started her singing lessons two months ago, she got a free singing lesson trial and loved it. But we were also thing about piano, so the owner invited her to participate in a free trial piano class as well, so we could decide what works best for our daughter. Together with the owner we decided to start with singing and add piano later, or switch. This was great guidance taking into consideration not the bottom line, but my daughter's age and concentration/ focus abilities. The space is very nice with waiting rooms for parents, but you don't have to stay. There is also a table and books to keep siblings occupied. Classes always start on time and there is always feedback. I honestly didn't know what to expect, but, so far, this has been the best after school find! read more

From their incredible teachers, compassionate front desk staff, wide variety of instrumental lessons, various camps available, and consistent performance opportunities, this is the perfect place to have your child take lessons, or to take lessons yourself! The conservatory is so welcoming, and they want you/your child to have the best music learning experience possible. The owner and founder Jiye, is such a personable and loving human, which is evident in the entirety of the school. Their staff is well rounded and knowledgeable because of their training, and they work well with students in a wide age group as well. If you're looking for somewhere for summer/winter camps as well, this is the place to go! They have a band camp and musical theatre summer camp available. Both are great opportunities to have your child be immersed in theatre/music, while having a break for yourself. In the MT camp, you can even see them perform in a super fun variety show, showcasing what they've learned. I highly recommend this school for all your child's (or yourselves) future music endeavors. We also put our girls in ASC's Musical Theater Camp during summer break, and they had a blast! In addition to coaching the campers on singing, dancing, and performing -- mixed in with fun games and play -- the ASC staff produced TWO captivating end-of-camp performances that knocked our socks off!
