I'm not really familiar with Mexican food but for some reason, by the looks of it, I had a feeling that I might enjoy this one. The Chalupa, their main product, looked a lot like a taco but bold prints on one of their signage clearly emphasized that it's not. I ordered their Beef Chalupa which contained beef (duh), veggies, cheese and other good stuff. You can even choose to put their special homemade hot sauce especially formulated to competent the soft pita-like chalupa. So if you're a fan of tacos and nachos with all the meat and special, you should definitely give this one a shot. You won't regret it. I didn't. Note: Say Chipotle (chi-pot-lei)

I first saw a stall of theirs at SM Hypermart (but I think that closed down), we wanted something different from our usual merienda (fresh lumpia, potato corner, pizza ollo, etc) beside the nearby stalls. I was so happy to have found it at the megamall food court, they also carry the iced tea brand All My Tea and it goes so well with their cheesy beef chipotle, for chicken lovers, you can opt to have chicken chipotle instead, both taste super good anyway). What amazes me too is that the customers get to see how they prepare the dough, sprinkling flour over it and then dipping it into the fryer. Such an interesting process and it's always nice to know how my food is being (safely) cooked.

I live way way down south.. and we don't have Nacho Fast there. Every visit to Eastwood must be sulit and every visit should result me with a smile, tummy full of nachos. While other moviegoers prefer their popcorn and soda combination, I like my movie staple to be covered with gooey melted cheese (not the powder type like with the popcorn!). I've tasted a lot of nachos, Nacho Fast's is my absolute favourite. I don't know what makes it different because there's no special ingredient to it really. Its really straightforward.. cheese, chips, ground beef smacked together -- but its different from others that I've had before. Maybe because their tortilla chips are crispy and strong enough that can hold a lot of cheese and toppings (wee!)? Hmmm. Or maybe because of the generous jalapeno? Or this white sauce that they have that they put together with the cheese (yogurt, I think?). I don't know till now pero panalo.:) Next time, you're here don't forget to try their nachos!

My favorites on their menu would be their Ultimate Nachos with Beef, Flautas and Corn Dogs. Their Ultimate nachos are jampacked with toppings and flavor. They've got a healthy serving of beef, cheese, salsa, jalapeños and onions! It's one of those blockbuster nachos you need not worry about not having any topping when you reach the bottom! Their Flautas are also really good, but then again how can you go wrong with anything that has cheese on it?! And their Corn Dogs are also pretty big and delicious (Hehehehe no pun intended, okay, you dirty-minded human being, you!) especially when dressed with mustard! I veer away from the catsups and mayo, and always go for some sour-tasting mustard instead. The best thing about Nacho Fast is that they actually deliver inside the cinemas! So if you're in a hurry to see the trailers or just wanna chill inside and be a lazy ass, then you can just ask them to deliver your food to you! Just give them your cinema number and seat number, and you're good to go!

All the places I've tried around manila looks like Mexican food, but it doesn't taste anything like how Mexican food is supposed to. Finally found a place that is the best I've tried in the Philippines so far. I normally drink vodka but i tried the frozen margaritas since i was at a mexican place, i wanted to try a mexican drink haha plus have an unlimited margarita special for P295 for the rocks margaritas & P395 for the unlimited frozen ones. I had both the lime and strawberry frozen margaritas and they were both good. I liked the lime one better, my date liked the strawberry one better. I changed up the flavors every other drink since it was unlimited anyway. I like how they make the frozen margaritas overflowing almost like a volcano. We shared the mozzarella sticks and buffalo chicken bites for appetizers. the Mozzarella sticks were actually crispy mozzarella sticks not like other restaurants i tried that use a lumpia wrapper and put cheese in it and call it mozzarella sticks haha. Buffalo bites were were sweet with a little bit of kick. They were small bite sized pieces of chicken breast with their Buffalo sauce glazed on it. Not really Mexican food but the girl i was with wanted those for appetizers so we got them. We also shared the carne Asada steak super nachos/super fries. I asked them make the super nachos with half super fries so we got to eat both. So damn good I am always going to get that every time i come here. I have not found any decent nachos in manila area or even super fries. The other places ive tried uses ground beef and that liquid cheese. That ish ain't nachos. I can't stand that haha. This place uses real slices of steak and grated cheese. There's also a special sauce they put on top that I can't really describe but it tastes pretty good. Me and my friend ate every last piece of it. There was nothing left on the plate haha In california me and my friends always get the super nachos and super fries after a night of going out drinking so I've really been missing it and searching for a place to satisfy that craving here. We tried their turon dessert here with ice cream on top. I've never had turon with ice cream. It was a good twist and went well together. The only problem is the ice cream melts so fast so you gotta eat it quickly. Overall was a nice place to chill and have drinks while eating. We sat in the front bar area. We really felt like we were hanging out at the beach. Would recommend to anyone looking for something different to try with a cool atmosphere. Great place to take a date. We even took pics together wearing their Mexican sombreros. The pics came out really cute. A great memory for us to keep and remember our date. They also have a big room in the back where there was a group celebrating a bday while we were there. They sounded like they were having a blast from all the nonstop laughing we heard.

The place always has a long line every time we pass by. Imagine our surprise when, even on a Monday, the place was packed! We ordered Silantro's Calliente Wings (Php170, 3.7USD) for our starter. Their Lucha Tacos is one of their best-sellers. We had the Medio which offers double choice of meat in 2 taco shells (option for soft or hard shell, we went for the the soft shell) for only Php95 (2USD)! We ordered the lengua and lamb. For the adventurous, there is ox stripe. But, they also have chicken and beef for those who want to play it safe. Go for the lengua, really good! I also had a Mojito (Php90, 1.9USD), one glass was definitely not enough. The only thing we didn't like about Silantro was their service. It took them quite a long time to serve our food. But, even with the waiting time, the food is worth it. I'm going back to this place with my friends. Next time, I'll be ordering their Unli Mojito! :)
