Then wait until the bill arrives. $356 PER hour PLUS every hand massage is $89, the Hydrotherapy (warm corn husks) is $65 for 20 min, The wax is only $30, and it's $75 per excersise (squish foam, count glass beads, roll around putty...) My insurance negotiated the maximum they could charge is $150 a visit, so they are trying to bill me directly for the difference... The whole thing is criminal. I am significantly worse after going here. Gale damaged 3 areas of my hand and now I need another surgery to reattach soft tissue she tore trying to fake a positive progress report... AVOID!

The staff is friendly, communicative, and typically have a smile on. The waiting room is open, and allows a view to the rehabilitation gym (the pediatrician portion is behind a small barrier, to allow pediatric OT and PT services to be rendered). Speech language pathology services are executed in an office, in which, you're free to join and participate with (in this particular case, I join in on ST sessions with my daughter; to learn any new methods, possible equipment, communicate with the SLP [speech language pathologist]). It's a little small (the office), but it offers an intimate session for parents/client to therapist. In my daughter's case, she was born premature due to an automobile accident, so no-fault auto covers the cost. Check your insurance to make sure you're covered in network or out of network, and any deductibles you may need to pay. NOTE: coordinated policy allows your health provider to work with your auto insurer (or whomever insured you at the date/time of loss). In this scenario, for example, BCBSM (Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan) pays for a portion first, then no-fault auto picks up the rest. Currently, we've been working on straw drinking, and continuing goals from our prior establishment of therapy, in which we still have services at; while creating and maintaining new goals. I showed up to John's practice with both runner's knee and a rotator cuff injury- and only about 5 weeks of time for PT sessions before heading out of town for an extended trip- and John was clearly committed to progressing me through recovery as quickly as my body was able to adapt so that I would be on a solid foundation for continue recovery after I was no longer able to work with him directly. Importantly, John Mittlebrun is a listener. The questions he worked through during my initial knee and rotator cuff assessments and then follow-on PT visits demonstrated that he was clearly paying attention to me, my body's incremental limits, and my body's progression through recovery. He helped me understand the balance between pushing up to the point of pain vs pushing through pain, the importance of consistency over perfection, and to trust the process even when patience is difficult. What bothered me was the short appointment times they offer patients. All appointments are only 1/2 hour. In Michigan winters with such bitter cold days, it seemed hardly worth the trip. I'm not sure how they reconcile the short appointments with insurance companies. It does not seem standard to me. I will definitely include questions about length of appointment time when interviewing centers for future potential services I choose.
