i went today on 02/28/28 to deposit cash for my daughter, The cashier/clerk her name was Zalymada was just plain rude after i asked her to give me change, keeping in mind i have 3 bank accounts with them. I went to customer service to see if i could get help, nope another attendant acting like she doesn't know her job. As a customer this institution failed treating a customer the correct way. I will be closing my accounts and transferring my money to a different bank. They just lost a long-term customer. Clerk, need to be re-trained better on her customer service skills. Always thank a customer after closing out a transaction, don't look at me like you mad doing your job!!! read more

I bought a new car about little over a month ago. When I received my first payment information in the mail I set up a wire transfer to pay off the entire amount of the loan on 11/12/25. I've been getting past due notices via email and voicemail. I've tried to reach a REAL person through their 800 phone line and get trapped in voicemail hell. YOU CAN'T TALK TO A REAL PERSON NO MATTER WHICH OPTION YOU SELECT EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS YOU CAN. Now I'm going to have to drive to the nearest office and take care of this in person. I HAVE NEVER been so frustrated and angry over a situation before. I'm guessing whomever applied my payment, applied it to the wrong account. All I can say is that it's going to be very ugly when I show up at their offices. I will NEVER do business with this credit union again. read more

They take advantage of students by making default deposit to the accounts that do not qualify to the promotions they are advertising. I called multiple time to check that all was in order and then was told that sorry the deposits went to the non-qualifying account. read more

I opened an account for each of my granddaughters on Friday. We received a"welcome to Aggieland credit union " but no member number. I called the branch to find out the phone number on google is not a working number. I finally got ahold of a person that said to wait till Monday. Today my granddaughter gets an email stating " we understand you want to cancel. What kind of a business is this. No she does not want to cancel. I called but of course you close at 5. Applied for car insurance online. There was no option to customize rental and towing coverage, so someone called me. I explained I couldn't provide information over the phone and would visit a branch instead. The representative said "ok" to visiting the branch. I then visited the Southparkway branch where I waited 38 minutes before being helped. After explaining my situation, the representative revealed this was a "third-party thing" they don't handle in branches - completely contradicting what the phone representative had told me! This is clear evidence of TERRIBLE communication between departments created by incompetent upper management. After being asked to re-explain my situation (because apparently management doesn't train staff on their own products or provide proper systems), I requested someone else. After another pointless 3-5 minute wait, I had to ask a passing employee about other locations. At the TX-6 Highway branch, I faced the same runaround. The representative took my driver's license, wasted 5-6 minutes, and then asked about CAR LOANS when I clearly presented INSURANCE documents. This isn't the employee's fault - it's the result of DISGRACEFUL management decisions to bundle third-party services under the bank's name while providing ZERO proper training or systems support. What kind of CLUELESS executives approved this ridiculous setup? The management team has created an absurd system where they advertise services they don't actually handle in branches, don't properly communicate this to customers, and leave their frontline staff completely unprepared to handle these situations. The C-suite and leadership team should be ASHAMED of creating this confusing mess and then hanging their employees out to dry. This is a perfect example of corporate incompetence at the highest levels trickling down to waste customers' time. read more

This credit union has the absolute worst automated system I have ever used. It should not take me repeating myself into the phone, eventually yelling, so that the robot can reply "Did you say 284?" when I said 646. Eight times in a row. Clearly. Spread out in a way that makes sense, that every other automated system I have ever used can understand. I don't even have an accent. Why does it take six minutes for me to pay one bill? I would just go online, but in the two years I've had the account, the system has never given me the option. I click "pay bill" and receive an error page. Every. Single. Time. Do you enjoy long lines? Do you enjoy the worst, most frustrating automation on Earth, so you will have something funny to talk about at dinner? Join this credit union, and you may also get to experience stress-induced ulcers. It's a win-win-win! read more

No 24hr servive. No weekend service past mid afternoon Saturday. All phone numbers lead to one understaffed and poorly conceived automated system. All 'professionsl/buisness services' are over priced and over rated. Don't let this organization handle your personal money or buisness accounts. Don't borrow money from this organization. Don't invest money through this organization. Your options for quality local banks and credit unions are limited in bcs and Austin to a lesser extent, but you will be happy to avoid them at all costs if you plan to live in either area for more than a few years. ACU caters too, and makes lots of money off of, studens in the bcs and austin areas. And since students typically leave after 4 years, they do not need to provide the kind of customer service and support you will find at a "grown up bank". Students, if you have bad credit there are better ways to improve it at the bigger banks. They do seem nice and down to earth, and they will be happy to help you figure out how you can pay them. read more

They don't even deserve one star. Slowest drive thru I've even encountered. Don't ever use the drive thru past 4:00p unless you have 30-45 minutes to spare. Customer service is average. I'm glad I don't bank here. I just have to make my truck payment here because it's a co-op bank with my credit union in Illinois. read more

Having had an account for over a decade I have always had good service at Aggieland Credit Union. They are responsive to my needs and run a first class operation. Since I do not bounce checks and I do not have to worry about fees. Their website is useful, sometimes it's down for a short period but it always comes back up quickly. I recommend this credit union to anyone needing a financial institution in this area. 4 local branches make banking here convenient. read more

This credit union is very friendly! They have low fees and seem to not forget that customers are important. My credit score is not very good, and despite that they were moderately trustful and are giving me opportunities to increase my credit score while using their services. Was(and am still trying to get a personal/ motorcycle loan, because its the only vehicle i can afford), so went to ACU because all the dealerships, and private sellers kept telling to become a member, and that getting a loan through them was almost guaranteed(or way easier at the very least) . So I caved after NO ONE else would give me a reasonable offer(and my credit isn't bad mind you). So I come in, and in ALL of Bryan/cstat area, there is only ONE loan officer and she was honestly terrible. I visited the branch on Southwest Pkwy 2-3 times, and out of ALL those times, she only actually spoke to me once, and never once personally looked at my credit report and try to understand my situation. She even tried to run out on me one of the days, and always kept me waiting, even after promising to get the application a look within a certain period of time. So much for someone who is supposed to be knowledgeable on credit, etc. She did not give me any good advice, and wasted my time, and my potential cosigner's time. Very disappointed at the service here. Thought credit unions were supposed to care about there members and be a more personal bank/place, but i guess that is all crap as well. read more
