Movers had to drive 1.5 hrs to my location to begin the move. They were on time, and worked quickly to facilitate my move. The new location required most items were placed upstairs. We had a really disappointing experience with Jason and Aggieland Moving and would strongly caution anyone hiring them. We brought them in to do carpet/tile cleaning and some basic decluttering before selling a family home. Before the job started, we specifically talked about budget limits and concerns and were told it would be around 1-2 hours of decluttering and 3-4 hours of cleaning. What actually happened felt like major scope creep. 9 hours of cleaning and 5 hours of decluttering! Without asking us first, they went far beyond what we discussed -- packing parts of the garage, removing art from walls, boxing up belongings, and charging us $595 for packing materials. We didn't ask them to or even give them permission to pack anything beyond just clearing off counters, etc. Our biggest issue was the lack of communication. If a job is suddenly becoming 2-3x larger than expected and agreed upon, you call the customer before continuing. That never happened. Instead, we were handed a huge invoice afterward and told all the extra work was "necessary." Since they are calling it necessary, then we just have to pay for it. I guess we should be glad they didn't decide to paint the place and charge us for that too. The whole thing ended up feeling less like an estimate and more like a blank check. To make matters worse, when we tried to question the charges and explain our concerns, the conversation quickly turned defensive and escalated into threats about filing "Theft of Service" claims if payment wasn't made immediately. That was honestly shocking considering we were still trying to resolve the disagreement in good faith. Maybe they do good work for some people, but our experience involved poor communication, unauthorized scope expansion, unexpectedly high charges, and pressure tactics we were very uncomfortable with. read more

Two young men came in and accessed the items to be moved and jumped on the tasks hella quickly. They were polite and friendly -especially the guy pictured. My furniture is extremely heavy, and their teamwork made it seem effortlessly. They asked questions upon unpacking as they placed items in their new areas -ensuring that it was placed where we wanted it. Cheaper than we expected! Handshakes were firm and eye contact was excellent. I highly recommend them! read more

I've used this company close to 10 times over the years--personally and professionally--and I've never experienced such a disappointing lack of accountability. During my most recent move, one of their movers severely damaged my door frame by forcing a large item through without help. I notified the owner before the movers even left my home. He acknowledged the damage and told me to go ahead and pay the $1,700 bill because he would send someone to repair it the following week. Weeks passed. I followed up multiple times. He promised a contractor would come out on April 21. That never happened. Since then, my calls go to voicemail, my texts are ignored, and I've had zero communication from him or anyone at the company. read more

Used this company for a short move and "Thought" based on a prior conversation that the move cost would be a specific cost. Information conveyed was I'd be allocated 2 movers as it was small and packed already to save on costs. On the day of moving they showed up 45 minutes late, the driver was very inept at backing up and hit a raised cable box backing up! When the driver attempted to back again he went too far and hit the corner of the house! What truly irritated me was that there weren't 2 movers but 3 who showed up which would be fine however Aggieland Movers Management had an additional cost of $100+ dollars they expected me to pay when I was already confirmed a price. What's upsetting also is they allocate a definitive time for a move and bring a truck, trailer or whatever they think is feasible BUT if they bring the wrong vehicles and they aren't large enough to facilitate a move in one trip as expected they put that additional cost on you the consumer! BE WARY OF THIS COMPANY AND HAVE "JASON" PREVIEW THE MOVE PRIOR TO AVOID THIS NONSENSE! read more

This business is the worst, do not use Aggieland moving. They came to move a desk into my home. A very expensive piece of furniture. The movers had no idea how to handle this job, then proceeded to drop the desk and ruin it completely. I spoke to the owner and he will not take responsibility for this nor will he remedy the situation. Unless you want all your personal items destroyed I would not hire this company. I would give zero stars if I could. I had an extremely poor experience. In the move, several pieces of furniture were crushed/destroyed. Several others were seriously damaged. Initial call to owner Jason Huff resulted in his agreement to replace one piece and provide compensation for others. He would get back to us after receiving pictures of damage. We sent pictures the same night. One week passed with no call back. Our calls were not answered. Voice messages were not returned. When I called on a completely different phone, I got an answer. This time Jason was noncommittal and stated that his insurance would pay $0.60 per pound on damaged pieces but still agreed to replace the destroyed piece. He asked me to send the weight of each damaged piece. I sent it that afternoon. One week and no reply. Two weeks and no answer to repeated phone calls. Do not trust this company! read more

Initially they responded apologizing and saying they'd have a contractor come out to give us a quote, now they've blocked my number and will not respond with no offer of a solution to help remedy the scenario. read more

I have used Aggieland movers a number of times over the last 20 years or so. They have always been on time, fair priced, efficient, and courteous. I have used them three times in the last 6 months, most recently today. Their lead man, Drexler, has been here on each of those 3 occasions and has done the job quickly and efficiently. He was assisted today by two young men today (Billy and Jason) as they moved an old style, very heavy 72" tv from an upstairs apartment. I had been concerned for a long time about getting that beast down, but they made quick work of it and at the price they quoted me. I will continue to use them in the future. read more

If I could give no stars I 110% would, this is the most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with, where do I even begin the movers working for this company are complete thieves if you care to read any of the other reviews many people have gotten multiple things stolen from them as well but let's begin! AGGIELAND Moving is the worst moving company ever. I have never experienced anything like this. I used them to move and it turned out to be a disaster. It took the worker 50 minutes to drive from one apartment to another apartment which is normally a 15 minutes drive tops. Once all was done, I called my mom because the most expensive box on the truck had went missing. I have two witness stating the box was loaded on the truck.. Apparently, it looks like the workers took a detour to the bathroom for 30 plus minutes and the most EXPENSIVE box just so happen to DISAPPEAR from the truck. Called the owner, and he stated he noticed the guys had a trash bag full of stuff (I was the only move that day the mover himself even asked to use my phone to call owner Jason and tell him I was the only move he was doing that day) but apparently "it was not unusual for customer to give stuff away". Unfortunately, I definitely did not give away Premier Jewelry, all of my expensive bathroom essential such as hair and body products plus all of my Lush cosmetics. The owner said he would give me and my mom a 20% discount is we need to move again which with our experience would NEVER WORK WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN! So the $250 bill to replace all the hair care product and about $300-$400 in jewelry and $200 in lush cosmetic is lost and he never found out what happened. I would not recommend using with company. Any reputable company would have tried to remedy the problem not dismiss potential theft. Trust is a big part of this business and they have proven not to be trustworthy! 1 star is actully high with how I feel about this company. I would never recommend this moving company to anyone in the College Station/Bryan area. To start off I called the to let them know I would be moving and the owner Terry said " okay the price will be $200/2hr and that's with the moving truck and will unload at the next location". So I said okay but I called back the next day and "well I'll have my own truck and I won't need help unloading because it's out of town (Houston)". He said okay well since your just loading the price will be $150. He not once mentioned how will you be paying so I thought everything was okay. So when move out day approached I call him to make sure my appointment time was still 10am he said yes ma'am; however, they still ended up showing late but no big deal I get it they were busy. They took only 45 minutes to get everything loaded. Now when it came time to pay the movers called Terry and gave me the phone. He goes "it's going to be 200" I go "well when we talked we agreed on the $150". Out of nowhere he starts yelling "why would I tell you that I'm giving you a discount because we normally charge $250". (So he changed up his prices). I tell him first calmly "your not going to yell at me" then as he continued to yell I got a little louder and told him this is very unprofessional. So my dad had to step in and tell him don't address me like that that's unprofessional. So at this point it was so frustrating we decided to pay the money so we had 100 in cash but the other 100 we needed to pay by card. So Terry gets back on the phone and goes "I only take cards a week in advance" (not once mentioned over the phone). By this point even the movers were like we are sorry your going through this so even they knew he was crazy and unprofessional. Terry gets back on the phone and says well I can take your credit I just have to call a friend so he can collect your payment over the phone (what!!!?!?!?). I said no I'll just get more cash from the ATM. After I got the cash and gave to movers who were really nice I left. I said I will never recommend this company at all. Worst experience ever. Sub contractor for Colonial VAn Lines. Missed the pick up by 30 hours. No contact information. When they finally arrived at 10:30 on a Sunday night they didn't have any packing materials or tools for the job. The guy who filled in the paperwork had been with the company for four days with no other experience. The drop off was no better. All our furniture was damaged. Gouges in all the wood after assurances from Waylon that everything would be wrapped. Nothing was! No bill of laiding for a detailed weight charge, no inventory was taken of our items, again the delivery guys had no tools, bolts that were needed to reassemble our bed were missing, mattress was not packed according to instructions resulting in dirt and torn mattress, delivery window was missed. Even after we had been guaranteed compensation for various screw ups we are still waiting. Don't EVER USE THESE GUYS!!! They give cowboys a bad name!!! read more
