I booked a "Mother-Pluckin' Tweeze" service, since I figured it'd give Lindy more opportunity for precision (according to her, a good aesthetician can do just as well with wax, but hey, I have my preferences). Not only did I get precision, I got a textbook-perfect session. She started by walking me through what she was going to do, drew her planned shape (which complemented my natural shape), and got down to business. In each step of the process, she made sure to check in with me to make sure I was going to get what I wanted. Even before she threw on some brow gel, my brows looked brand-spankin'-new. They do have an in-store boutique full of products such as lotions and skin care. I recommend their sugar scrub and moisturizing lotion. I wish this would have been double checked prior to being used on me because even if it's probably fine only happening once and (hopefully) it wasn't in a high dosage.. but was unable to confirm this - it still caused me immense anxiety that I really wish was avoided. I washed it off and emailed my doctor. But I still feel awful and wish more precaution was taken. This was my first facial since becoming pregnant (almost 27 weeks now) and I was really looking forward to it and thought I'd be safe here.
