It took 12 visits for Dr. Henry to replace one crown that I'm not even sure needed to be replaced…read more The first replacement took four visits because the color wasn't right. Then, at my annual exam, he told me it had been installed incorrectly and offered to replace it at no charge. That replacement took another eight visits. The temporary cracked three times, I had to go to a dental lab in Springfield twice for color matching, and the final crown was wrong and had to be redone. Look, I get it -- humans make mistakes and sometimes things happen that are out of our control. But 12 visits? If you've never had a crown, this is not a normal experience. I've also had concerns about their billing. On one occasion, I was quoted one amount for unrelated dental work, then later received a bill with additional charges. When I called for an explanation, I was told the person who gave me the quote was no longer employed there and had given me the wrong pricing. Convenient. At my last cleaning, I also specifically asked the hygienist not to use the water sprayer because I'm sensitive to the vibration. She used it anyway, despite my request, and it was very uncomfortable. That said, I did have one very positive experience a few years ago when I chipped a front tooth. They saw me the next day as an emergency patient, and a different dentist in the practice repaired it beautifully. Despite that one positive experience, I will not be returning.

The dental hygienist and the doctor are on top of your issues and their transition is seamless. Waiting room was fine. I get back into the chair for my appointment and the dental assistant starts working on getting X rays of my mouth. These hard, uncomfortable blocks (that I'm very used to after 30 years of dental x rays) are sitting between my teeth to bite down on - which anyone who has had dental X-rays I'm sure can relate to. The oral hygienist REPEATEDLY accidentally knocked into me -- jamming the x ray and cutting my mouth. He had no spatial awareness and it was incredibly painful. Then, the dentist comes in. She says "hi, I know you usually see (Doctor) but they're out today so you'll be seeing me." I said I am a new patient and have never been here. So that wasn't a good look. Dental cleaning was fine, pretty standard. The condition of the room was kind of grimy and I saw a bug crawling on the ground. I'm used to a much more polished dental office, this felt like a run down old Arlington apartment with old rusty radiators. Anyway, so at the end of my cleaning they say if I get fluoride it will cost $30. I said that's fine, because that was the ONLY expense I was expecting to pay. I had asked repeatedly during my calls with this office to ensure that I understood what my financial responsibility would be. They said it's all covered by insurance (other than the fluoride). So, I check out and head home. Since that appointment, I have received texts for several months now from this office claiming I owe $100. Each time I get the text, I call the office and speak to someone. Each time, they aren't sure of the charge and say they'll check and call me back. The never call me back. So I wait around over and over for another "you owe $100 text" and then call again and try to handle the issue. No one has been able to give me a clear answer. The staff is extremely disorganized and unprofessional. I finally paid the $100 since now it's "overdue" and I'm clearly not going to get any resolution. But in return, I decided to write this review. Which originally I wasn't going to do because I wanted to give this place a chance. Turns out it's disorganized, unprofessional, poor communication, misleading financial information, and generally not a good vibe. I don't recommend.

After the consultation, she gave me the most half-baked cleaning I've ever had. After floss, she spent MAYBE 30 seconds on the actual cleaning. She didn't even brush half my teeth! I walked out like ??? Fast forward a month they hit me with a bill for $300. When I asked what for, they said it was the cost of the x-rays. I said the x-rays you took for my Invisalign consultation? and they said yes. I said why wouldn't the x-rays you took for my Invisalign consultation be part of the $99 consultation fee? They said your insurance covered the covered the consultation fee, but you have to pay for the x-rays. I said THE X-RAYS THAT I ONLY GOT AS PART OF THE CONSULTATION? and they said yes but if you proceed with Invisalign we will waive the $300 ;). Why would I agree to do Invisalign with y'all when you are actively scamming me?? Went back and forth with them for a while and ended up saying look I'll pay the $99 consultation fee, and they said fine and sent me a new invoice (not even sure why I agreed to pay that WHEN MY INSURANCE COVERED IT).
