Aside from random steak purchases, we usually buy their $80.00 Beef Freezer Packs. On two occasions, we received fewer items than what is listed on their advertised package contents. (First time it was a package of cube steak and this time a 1lb package of hamburger.) The first time it happened (about a year ago), we just let it go. The second time was today. My phone call was transferred to whom I assume is the owner/manager. After the manager/owner reluctantly stated he'd replace the missing item, he offered no apology and not-so-subtly inferred that we were cheating him. I found the accusation appalling. Their meat isn't cheap. I work hard for my money. If a business promotes a certain amount of items then that is what is expected and should be given. It's that simple. They can keep the missing one-pound hamburger package, but our next meat purchase will be through another business. read more
