Then he did have someone else take the other. Gave instructions about cake. Went to pick up cake today. The cake was wrong. He still gave attitude. Got cake home. The icing was hard. The cake is gross. It was an old cake. Very disappointed. Most employees there are now rude. They shove you out of the way when stocking a shelf you are looking at. They are in a hurry and run you over in the aisle while stocking or filling their online orders. This used to be a good store. Not anymore.

The pharmacist ignored the facts, became aggressive in tone, and started to manipulate the situation, making me feel like I was in the wrong. To make matters worse, he attempted to downplay the situation by offering me a discount of $25, which seemed like a mere attempt to brush things under the rug. I suspect they initially charged my insurance company a significantly higher amount, likely $500 or more, and the pharmacist seemed more concerned about deflecting the issue than addressing it fairly. His unprofessional behavior, lack of empathy, and failure to communicate properly with me made me lose all trust in this pharmacy. This experience was not only disrespectful but also raised serious concerns about the lack of understanding of basic procedures, including HIPAA regulations. I strongly feel that this pharmacist's actions were inappropriate and unprofessional, and I would recommend avoiding Giant Eagle Pharmacy in the future. The treatment I received was unacceptable, and I will never trust them with my healthcare needs again. Sadly this very last Fishers on the planet (or at least in the greater Canton area) is going out of…read morebusiness. One by one, we saw them all fall until there was just one left standing. And in less than two weeks it will be gone too. I stopped in twice this week to get my fix of the ham salad and pineapple fluff and a few other deli items. Smiley face cookies were sold out (although they are going to try to have a batch out every day before they close). Grocery items were 30% off so I stocked up on some canned goods and such. When I lived near the North Canton store, I would often shop there, but hadn't made Fishers my go-to for awhile now, since I was not close to one anymore. Someone posted on facebook that it would be a great idea if they could resurrect their brand somehow, and open just a deli and sell all the things that their Super Fans love the most: chicken salad, spinach dip, pumpkin pudding, ham salad, potato salad, pineapple fluff, etc. I think that's a great idea. If not, then we will sadly say goodbye to a business that has been here since the 1930s. Syonara, old friend. It's been a wild ride. I wish all of the Fisher family and employees the best.

We were afraid to try Acme because it has the stigma as being low quality and cheap. Boy were we wrong. Acme has a nice deli section that my husband loves with some of the most polite people I've ever encountered working at a grocery store. The organics are by far the best anywhere in town. Not only the quality but selection and price. They even have organic ground beef which is really hard to find. They have a great selection for lactose intolerance and gluten free. Not even Raisin Rack can compete with Acme in this department which is of utmost importance to us. The layout makes shopping so much easier. I'm at the point now that I can picture the aisles in my head when making my shopping list. They don't seem to have as much trouble with my biggest pet peeve that most other grocery stores have- coming back week after week and not having the same stuff in the same place as last week. I know that every time I walk into Acme they are going to have the stuff they usually have and it's going to be where it was last time. This makes shopping go much faster. The employees are exceptionally friendly and helpful and willing to go out of their way to not just direct you but walk you to what you are looking for. Before shopping at Acme our trips to the grocery store could take easily over an hour, now we're in and out in about 30-45 minutes with good quality food at a great price.
