AGR Roofing and Construction is top notch in every way! We met Kevin, one of their representatives, after the major hail storm that hit Denver in 2017. Our roof was totaled. Kevin helped us pick out the colors and was very accommodating to all our needs. A six-man roofing crew started the job within a few weeks after we came to an agreement. The crew was super efficient, did a great job, and was careful to clean up everything. Zero mess left anywhere on the property! They even used magnets to pick up any loose nails and any bits of metal that might have fallen off the roof. Kevin came by the next day to inspect and make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. The whole job, which involved removing the old roof and installing a new one, plus some sheet metal work, took only a day. Our next-door neighbors' houses were replaced by different roofing companies and both of those jobs (both were smaller roofs) took several days to complete. I was once a roofer myself and was amazed at how quickly and efficiently AGR did our roof. It was nice getting to know the folks at AGR. If we ever need any other roofing work done, there is nobody else we would call! PS, there were no surprises on the cost. I worked closely with Matt Upperman from AGR and he exceeded our expectations. We had a leaky roof and since it's been raining so much we needed to get it fixed immediately. We checked with a competitor and they were 4-6 out. AGR was able to get started within a week. They got the job incredibly fast and cleaned up really well. The crew was nice and worked quickly. STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. Oct. ROOFING JOB DID NOT PASS INSPECTION - TWICE. City Inspector had to issue "Corrective Notice". Were promised AGR would respect & protect our home, property, landscaping, gardens & family dog - they did not. (*1*)AGR was complete "No Show" at scheduled early a.m. Oct 13th job start. (*2*) AGR didn't bother to call to reschedule or update us, despite house being made available & large dog boarded specially for their scheduled work. (*3*) Client had to call AGR several hours into scheduled job & ask why AGR was still a "No Show" hours later. (*4*) After showing no respect for our time, AGR then gave a later arrival time & ultimately NEVER SHOWED UP that day (cancelling that day's job start at 3:30 p.m.). (*5*) We spoke to AGR owner & he repeatedly threatened to cancel & not send his crew at all and to create a bigger problem. Unprofessional on all counts. We were shocked! AGR finally arrived on Sat (1 day past scheduled start date). Things continued to be a disaster. (*6*) AGR drove over 3' caution stakes w/caution flags, BREAKING SPRINKLER SYSTEM, DAMAGED SIDEWALK PAVERS, BROKE PART OF SECURITY FENCE, BENT 2 SIGNS IN HALF, DAMAGED LANDSCAPING BECAUSE DID NOT TARP (as repeatedly promised to fully cover/tarp all 4 sides of landscaping by multiple AGR sales people), DUMPED & LEFT 5 DIFFERENT TYPES OF NAILS & SCREWS, TAR PAPER, OLD SHINGLES, METAL SHARDS & other construction debris on all 4 sides of our home, (in gardens & where the dog could & did try to eat nails and other debris). AGR created danger to us & our poor dog, could care less, stating they did not work on Sunday (FORCING UP TO CLEAN THEIR SAFETY HAZZARD). (*7*) Left hazardous debris/nails (after a partial clean up the day of job). (8)Unless you are up for 40+ literal hours of construction clean up (yourself) and "fixing" all the things AGR damages and breaks, incomplete work and construction debris (including flammable shingles, nails and wood STILL IN THE ATTIC), partial cuts on your vents and being told this is the "normal" experience. You should keep checking references and find a company that delivers better than all the experiences AGR has delivered this last 2 months. It seems they will have to come back yet again... (*8*)This is a sample of what they delivered to us. Neither our insurance company, nor us, nor the inspector have been happy with this expensive nightmare & it is not over yet. Meanwhile they bug us for final payment. Have worked with many contractors over the years - these are among the worst we have dealt with. I don't have much to compare it to, but AGR roofing has to be one of the best roofers in the Denver area. I contacted AGR a few months ago when I noticed we had overflowing gutters on our home. Project Manager Chris S. showed up a few days later to give things a look. I also asked him to look at our roof as we had a bad hail storm recently and I suspected damage. Chris confirmed that we should have an adjuster look at the roof and he even cleaned out our gutters for free. When the insurance adjuster came out, AGR owner Ryan showed up since Chris was at their site in Lincoln, and worked great with our adjuster. It turned out that we needed a new roof (covered by insurance), and Ryan also helped the adjuster to notice a few other spots that were damaged by hail, which were also covered by insurance. I've worked with Chris several times over the course of a few months to make sure everything was lined up perfectly for the roof install. Chris was VERY patient with us to show us different shingle options and even order some on AGR's dime so we could see what the different colors would truly look like. Once we finally had reached a decision, the order was placed and the roof was installed in just 1 day's time. Chris has followed up with us several times to ensure every last detail is right on our roof, as well as other areas unrelated. He's removed yellow jacket nests, consulted driveway contractors, ordered custom chimney stacks to abate birds, and even gave us some free AGR shirts. It's rare that I get the opportunity to give accolades to a contractor, because oftentimes we hire people and I wish I would have just done the work myself. When it comes to something like roofing, get it done right the very first time with someone who will be patient with your decision and educate you on every aspect of the job. Now our home looks better than it did when we bought it and we have much better shingles than those previously installed, for no additional cost. If you're thinking about getting your roof replaced, give these guys a call and let them guide you through the process, and especially ask that they be present when your insurance adjuster visits. We called AGR Roofing after getting damage to our roof during a hail storm that came through Nebraska. I was contacted by Ryan Strait at AGR and he came out to look at the roof and told us that it needed to be replaced. He worked with us and our Insurance Company to get this whole process taken care of. When the weather finally warmed up he contacted me again to let me know that the material would be dropped off one day and the work would begin two days later. The work was done in one day and Ryan was even there at the house when I got home from work to make sure the work was being completed and that everything was cleaned up. The gutters were installed a few days later and they look great (we color matched the gutters to the house color). I would highly recommend AGR for all your roofing needs. I can't speak for everyone that works there but we were very happy with Ryan and how well he kept in contact with us during this whole process. read more

Ryan at AGR was extremely helpful and on top of my hail claim at my rental house in Sunnyside. He was out there 3 days after the storm, met with the insurance claim adjuster and had my roof completed in less than a week. It was crazy fast and they did an amazing job. They took care of all the insurance stuff and made sure I was aware of the process throughout. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a roof or roof repair. read more

I can not recommend AGR Roofing. I wanted to get an estimate for replacing my roof,place decking in the attic,replacing gutters and replacing metal awning on back porch. I have called them at least 5 times and could not get anyone to call me back to set up an appointment. read more

AGR is the worse company I have worked with in many, many years. I have had them working on several of my properties this year due to hail damage. What a nightmare!!! They made many promises to me but have not followed though on most of them. Trying to get them to complete the work that was on the insurance estimate still continues after 6 months. They made promises to me to have additional work on the roof that was needed and they assured me the insurance company would pay for it in a supplement. This was back in July 2017 and I just found out from them that it was not covered. Now I received a hefty bill which the costs are not broken down and I cannot get ahold of them to address this. I feel so strongly about this I am going to visit people with AGR signs in their front yards and let them know how terrible AGR's service and my experience with them has been.
