Terrible meat market they dont keep track of the ticket numbers and just start shouting out numbers skipping people leaving them to grab yet another number. The young man who finally attended me was told by an older coworker to spit in the bag of fajita that i bought and when i caught them they were mad that i assumed they would do such a thing. One of the worst meat markets in the valley, and overpriced. Stay away from their "fajitas" they are terrible (all of them). Market employees even look and sound frustrated when you ask for a special cut. Please don't waste your money, stay away from their worthless fajitas. read more

Have been buying meat here since the store opened. Had a terrible experience today. My mom went to buy a bag of chicken and since she got in the car we noticed it had a foul smell . She washed it to see if it took off and then placed it in the oven to cook. Turns out it was rotten. We went back and told tge manager about it and he insisted the chicken was good and had the audicity to tell my mom it was probably that she didnt cook it well. He also said he was going to re-sell the chicken she returned (rotten, touched) as he knows better about meat than we do. A good professional manager would of happily returned the money/exchanged item as tge customer was unpleased with the purchase instead of arguing and insulting them. First off, beautiful store. Very nicely decorated and clean. The workers are super nice and welcoming. I just walk in and if their is 4 workers there, they all say hello/welcome. I go mostly for the sirloin fajitas. All I can say is WOW! The best fajita ive ever had. I thought I had already had the best fajita from another meat market here in mcallen but i was so wrong. The meat is so good, super soft. Seasoned just perfectly. We could literally eat it all week and won't get tired of it. I love that they have everything you need for a BBQ and more. This store is beautiful. I love the meat from this store. The meat is always fresh. Friendly service and eager to help. The weekly lunch plates are delicious and cooked to perfection. I used to shop for meat at HEB and I've never gone back. Thank you for opening this store in mission. read more
