The front office worked with me to accommodate our moving date which was great and said someone would come out to do an estimate, gave me a general time frame for their arrival, and said they would call when they were on their way. As a mom with a 9 month old who has a nap schedule and a dog who barks at everyone who walks past our door, this is extremely important to me. The guy arrived without calling and I had to rush to get the dog out on his lead before he woke up my daughter. He took about 15 minutes to do the estimate, said we'd need one truck with 3 guys and overshot on the time which I expected so no biggie there. Moving day arrives; the crew had loaded maybe 3 rooms (out of 8) and kept saying they were going to need another truck multiple times to the point where my husband and I said screw it, take only the large furniture and heavy boxes and we'll move the rest on our own. 2 of the workers busted their butts while one sort of just organized the truck and then one of the guys busting his butt and the organizer bickered most of the afternoon. The third guy even came and apologized to me and my husband for having to listen to it! A chandelier was broken during the process and no offer from the company to repay us for us or anything. Then the icing on the cake was the foreman did our bill, I had a debit card and he said I had to call the office to do it and I did, at 330 in the afternoon, and the lady who does the payments had left for the day! What?! So in all the craziness of moving I couldn't remember where I had our checkbook and thought I left it at the old house. The office said I could drop it off by 5pm and the foreman said no worries we'll go to the old house with you and we'll bring the check, no extra charge for the time. Only halfway there I realized where it was and had to just stop at the bank and withdraw cash. My husband was in a separate vehicle and got there before me and told them that I had to make a stop. When I got to the old house (which was 20 minutes after my husband and I spoke so he had communicated with them that I had to stop) the foreman was on the phone asking if he should run the clock. Why did you offer to do it at no cost then try to call and ask your boss if you should run the clock? Makes no sense. All in all, it wasn't an awful experience but not worth 5 stars to me and I likely wouldn't recommend them to friends or family.

The facility is very clean and well lit. My unit was dry and never had any issues with bugs, mold, etc. I stored clothing as well as furniture, and everything came out in great shape. When you enter, if the gate is open you have to check in with the staff to sign in. While this does add 30 seconds to your trip, the staff is incredibly friendly and will know you by name. Chatting with Adam at the front desk was often a highlight in my stressful trips to and from my unit. If the gate is closed (nights and weekends) you sign in with a pin and you have access to your unit 24/7, which is not always the case elsewhere. I, a single woman, occasionally made trips alone in the dark and was never once worried about my safety. The units are a fair price compared to other companies, but for the quality service and safety, it's an easy choice. In my first week, I did have an issue where I jammed the sliding door. They fixed it the following day and gave me a nice discount for my troubles. I can not recommend Stock N Lock enough!

I ended up calling and leaving a message with some questions before booking and was promptly texted back a response. I booked online through their portal and hoped for the best. On the day of my move (Labor Day), I received a text message saying their ETA. It was about 30 minutes after the original scheduled time but I appreciated the text with the update! The two gentlemen who came by to help with the move are fast and super efficient. They seriously know how to pack. I was worried we wouldn't fit our things in a 16' POD, but they managed to fit 85% of our stuff in about half of the POD. They are efficient and pleasant and good at their jobs. I will definitely use them again with my next move. Super nice guys. Easy company to work with and they even worked on a holiday!

On 8/17/18 they moved me from a 2 BR townhouse to a 3 BR apartment on the second and third floor of a house. Making the appointment on their website was easy and clear. As they state, they do not come with a truck. They showed up on time and started working immediately. They were efficient and ridiculously hard working in the 90 degree humid day we had. They loaded the truck to maximize space and protect my belongings. These guys worked at full speed and energy the whole time and did not stop until every single box was unloaded. These guys are professional and much more affordable than all the other companies I received quotes from.
