We had seen products from this place for some time at local merchants and farmers markets, but had never been to the actual store front. This is a spot that people need to check out! It's located out off of74th just off of tandem. It's a cool little barn/bakery that is attached to a house and also located adjacent to the berry patches. They sell all sorts of sweets including some really legit cinnamon rolls (we got three types for Christmas), tons of cookies, So do it yourself cooking kits, local honey and all sorts of other good stuff. During the summertime at farmers markets they sell some of the best hand pies we've ever had and I'm sure they have some here during berry season! The folks working here are super nice and the prices on things are very reasonable. This is the perfect spot to find pastries and sweets that were literally made 20 feet from where you purchased them and the berries picked about 100 feet from it! Y'all should check them out!

We really enjoyed homemade goodies. Loved the smooth and lighter taste of fresh honey. Adds a natural sweetness that goes well with our breakfast foods and snacks. We're also delighted to indulge in fresh, delectable cherry pie and split it in thirds. Filling holds well in sturdy and delicious crust. There were also many other items sold out for the day. Staff are welcoming. Able to inquire about berry picking schedule.

Adorable pick your own berry patch (or not, they have baskets of pre-picked berries for purchase) tons of pues, cookies, breads, crumbles, several kinds of cinnamon rolls, ice cream & shakes. This place is off the beaten path but 100% worth the visit

What a stunning accomplishment! As a retired boutique scratch baker of over 30 years, and a…read morewell-travelled committed food pro, so often I am disappointed, if not physically sickened, in our great country by the low standards, poor skills, inedible ingredients (so often even toxic) used by our professional bakers. But to find this bakery, employing all butter in its croissant and puff pastry, creating shatteringly crisp ethereal layers of texture and flavour: truly these baked goods reaffirm all that is right in the world. There is truth, honesty and integrity creating a real bond of trust between creator and customer. This is a sacred thing. I also enjoyed their works bagel. IMO, a perfect balance of chewy texture, gentle tug of war between give and get with a taste of a mature dough. But, best of all, not an inflated dough ball of immensity! The right size....so I am traditionalist..shoot me! Thank you for reaffirming that the staff of life, our Daily Bread is a gift from the heavens! And a sweet, clean, warm welcoming environment with kind, helpful and friendly knowledgeable counter staff! I really need to move out here from the New York region, just to have this bakery within range. And to try their cakes! Which look fantastic. Judging by the quality of the smaller pastries, I can only imagine the gateaux and tortes are catapulted to the very limit of pleasure: complex, well-calibrated and not too sweet!

From the stunning views over the valley below, to the tasty cocktails, to the wonderful eats it was a great way to chillax on a lovely Saturday evening. Having had a not-great experience with wine (at a different venue) earlier in the day, we opted for cocktails here. My extra dirty martini with cheese-stuffed olives was phenomenal, and my friend enjoyed her old fashioned. We shared a roasted beet and burrata salad as an appy, then moved on to our main courses - I got the prime tenderloin and she got the cider glazed pork. We washed it all down with a couple of chocolate espresso martinis for dessert. My tenderloin was cooked to perfection, and accompanied by some sweet little roasted carrots and a lovely heap of mashed potatoes. My friend reported that her pork was more like a stew, and she really enjoyed it. What really put our experience here over the top was the absolutely amazing service we received, especially from our waiter, Trevor. He was friendly, funny, and helped us navigate the menu when we couldn't decide what to get. He also told us a little about the geological history of the area, which is built over an old coal mine. This place wasn't cheap, but for a fun night out of splurging, it was perfect!
