We have been very impressed with their location in Yakima, however it was short-lived. After a visit to this location, I think it's important that we get them back over this direction! This place shares a building with Jerrol's, A delightful store with a classic mix of items that Rich from Central Washington University paraphernalia all the way down to children's books and toys. More of this in a separate view! If you haven't heard Winegars ice cream, it's truly legendary! Back in Iowa there was an ice cream chain called Whiteys that used a higher fat content milk to make their ice cream - I only know this because my grandfather is a dairy farmer it currently has an inside scoop on the knowledge of milk fat and ice cream places Dash and the stuff is amazing. The ice cream here reminds me of the ice cream there, and is equally amazing! They have 20+ flavors that are all creative just plain wonderful! They range from flavors like a classic strawberry sorbet and classic chocolate, all the way up to funky combinations that really work well together. We happen to come on a week where they were highlighting a different banana split. It probably been 20 years since I've had one, and three of us ended up sharing what was probably the best banana split we've ever had. I don't remember the name exactly, but I know it had Peanut butter, three scoops of ice cream and some delicious fruit. Three of us enjoyed it, including our three-year-old who absolutely housed a good portion of it! They also operate a coffee shop and small restaurant inside. We didn't try either but everything looked good and the drive thru was constantly busy. Is it the best ice cream ever- very possibly! You need to check them out!

We were down in Cle Elum on a meatscapade when we decided then we should grab some sweets. The kids definitely didn't object! This place is a small spot located on a corner in downtown Roslyn. Currently, they're only letting small groups of six or less inside, so you may have to wait outside for a bit. The folks inside got everybody through quickly. They have a moderate selection of some old-school candy, including some really old-school stuff that would get your grandparents excited! It also got some more modern, old stuff like big league chew. Nothing made you feel more alive than shredded I will come design to look like tobacco! A big selling point is the fact that they have Winegars ice cream as well as a number of other funky flavors. One of the kid got pop rocks ice cream, another rocky road, and another a delightful sorbet. They also have some pretty cool antique showcases that housed the candy. You definitely have to watch the kids as their favorite thing while we were there was to lean on the glass case from the 1890s. One of the best things we found were the handmade chocolates that they have that came in a number of different flavors. The rosemary with sea salt, three citrus and lavender were the favorites, no the other four or five options that they had looked very nice. It was pretty cool to be able to get high end chocolates as well as gummy candy in the shape of cheeseburgers from the same place. The prices were good and the selection with solid and fun. This is definitely a spot you should check out!

They had sample cups, so we proceeded to try the different yogurt flavors. I never thought I would say this, but the vegan (made with almond milk) kahlua flavor froyo was delicious! I usually go with non-vegan desserts, but not this time. My mom and brother got some of the strawberry froyo (no sugar added), and it was good. It tasted like strawberries and milk, and wasn't overly sweet like the froyo at other places. Just as there are lots of options for the froyo, there are also lots of options for the toppings, ranging from chocolates, to candies, to even popping boba! The froyo shop itself, froyo machines, and topping bar were clean and neat. There were plenty of seating options too: regular tables, bar style tables, and even a sofa (with a tabletop) in front of a TV. For payment, they accept cash or credit card (even American Express). There's plenty of parking at the lot in front of the store. The store is located near a Subway sandwich store. I'll have to visit this place again the next time I'm in town to check out what other seasonal/special flavors they have!
