Kenny came out and measured and most of the time I interacted with Janet via email and a phone call. We were able to narrow down our color and type of carpet from the showroom samples that would suit our needs. The " whole team" was responsive to our needs and wants ,they very much listened to the customer. Customer service is the name of the game in my opinion. Definitely always want to give praise on this . Made a deposit (60% on a credit card- extra fee- which I was aware) and they got the carpet ordered and assured me that it would come in time for my specific install " window. " They came through ....carpet arrived from Georgia in plenty of time and Eric did the install ,he was on time ( within the 2 hour arrival time),very professional , & didn't leave any mess,he vacuumed- only a little fuzz pieces remained on a different area of home( tile) Easy to clean up myself. The hours of operation currently for the showroom are Monday through Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM which was conducive to our needs to both come look at colors and brands. We went from a dark color carpet that came with the house that was holding up well,but probably really inexpensive as we redid whole room to refresh it, so new carpet was a must in a lighter tone. I had read about owner Traci previously,but I think there are new owners ( Kenny? & Janet?) ,but since this was my first time using this carpet company, I wouldn't know any difference other than the job from start to finish was exactly how I expected it to go. Final payment or deposit can be made with a debit card- no extra fees. I wanted to support a local business and had heard good things about this company so I didn't even get another estimate from anywhere else. So I have no idea if their price is low, middle of the road ,or high . They have all different types of carpet for most budgets. I am beginning to review my customers based on what I know of them and their experience level and concern for their business. In my recent discussion with Traci she mentioned complaints on YELP in her self evaluation process of wonder how to combat bad information. She has 2 , but as I read them she really doesn't have any! I have read her reviews and find that there will always be complaints, but I find it interesting that some of her complaints are vague at best. Also lack of personal responsibility to maintain one's home after years. In our business, problems occur usually during installation of up to 90 days after installation. You will not find someone better that Ahwatukee Carpets for after care concern and professionalism. Equally my suggestion to anyone who is going to voice complaints on anybody on YELP, it would be prudent for you to contact the owner directly at her store and ask her to review your complaint, first. To see somebody openly complain about anyone without giving a company the professional opportunity to solve your problem is unfair at best. Equally it does not solve the problem. I believe that the flooring industry as a whole leaves a tremendous amount of responsibility on the dealer network. That is why it is so important for you to find the right dealer! I personally only call on the best dealers in any city that I go into. Integrity is of utmost importance. You will never find a small business with more integrity than Ahwatukee Carpets. As a manufacturer's rep of many flooring products I know you will be taken care of at this company, before, during and after the sale. This is a company that will prove themselves in all aspects of business! Please IF you are going to complain, make sure that you have given the dealer, any dealer, any business the correct time to correct your problem, today or 3 years later it is still prudent to give the company a chance to solve it. Finally decided to remodel our 2 full bathrooms and we hired Traci to do the tile work and install new counters. We did check out a few big box stores as well as other small businesses owners. Traci had great pricing and we had a good feeling right from the start with her. In the beginning stages she helped us pick out tile and counter samples. She knows her stuff. In addition, we got to take some samples home! That was great. Once the work got going she would keep us posted and inquire about the progress. We had carpet installed in Nov 2014 and could not be more disappointed in the carpet installation 2.5 years later. It is bunching up all throughout and just looks terrible. The installers even came out to redo their job and we still have problems. This area has had very little foot traffic as well. Carpet should not look like this just a few years later installed. Only giving two stars because they did flooring too. Different installers obviously. Stick with flooring if you go here. read more

Ahwatukee Carpets owner Traci recently helped my older friend Harry replace most of the carpet in his house. The experience was great from start to finish! We were able to bring a sample board home to try and match the color of the one room that was not being replaced. Then we went back and met with Traci and finalized the color and grade of carpet. The sample board we had included two different grades of carpet, and Traci, since she had come out and measured, told us even the less expensive carpet would be more "plush" than the one room we were matching. We really appreciated her honesty in not pushing us to the more expensive grade when we didn't need it. She also helped us refine our color choice when onsite at the house. The carpet came in more quickly than originally estimated and was installed by a crew who were very polite, professional and thorough. And guess what? Traci was exactly right!
